i shed a tear
for sorrow and fear
i have lost all i held near
as i fall to this internal despair
i am undone by the smell of her hair
her radiant gaze
lost in this forsaken maze
i search in vein for a soul
yet falling deeper into this hole
at reckonings end i can finally see
vast seamless light now and forever free
the one price i cannot pay
haunted by her memory every day

today i saw a void in space
life and deaths horrific face
through a veil in time it shone with black fluorescence
shimmered bright with an aura of pure white essence
numbing and cold burning bright yet din
tediously creeping forward it tore me within
my soul lost i stumble opiate and week
gone again leaving a pain, an eternal shriek

light forced to wither between shadows
and slither through cracks in the sky

shadows devour the light and our once
green earth is smothered without even a cry

look into smoldering eyes as you
break and fall in the wake of death

whispered words that taint and bleed
you in a single heartless breathe

beg your martyr your got to save
your precious ways

as you feel touch and smell your
last and faded days

awaken to blackness burning your feeble mind
you pray to your christ for a divine way to find
the insignificant truth your beliefs made you blind

a true glimpse of time
as reality eclipses the mind
behold what we envy
longing to be set free
first we must see
our errored ways
our withering days

a blackened sky is like an endless abyss
embraces a man like deaths kiss
there is no struggle word or sound
just a moment of bliss when all thoughts drowned
it sinks in deep and drains all life
yet there is no sadness grief or strife
it comes with elegance plight and grace
for it is none other than deaths embrace

heaven or hell its all the same
a place of solace needless of name
the quorum set your forever alone
and you stray far far from home
the sands of time in constant flow
while you search deep down your bound to know
there is no kind of what you seek
no redemption no peace the future is bleak

the wondering mind explores a thought
of piece and tranquility that cant be bought
a magnificent scene of shock and aw
that dwindles on the tip of a single straw
as you fall awake watch it bend and break
for none of us know whats truly at steak
a world sought after by all our kind
a world of beauty hope and piece of mind

within a day the sun will fall
the moon will rise above the ocean
when the darkness covers all
light surrenders all devotion
within a week tides will part
bringing breathe warmth and life
unhindered grants within the heart
shield thy home from hate and strife
within a month a forest burns
the sky is painted red with fire
out of ash a moth returns
ascending higher he will transpire
within a year ive come to find
what ive become is far to shallow
a distant word seems to kind
and will remain for nights to follow
within the second i have become
entranced by a lonesome smile
take me back to where im from
holding tight to stay the while
every minute i quake and tremble
for a life far less dismal

BEAUTIFUL

the piper softly plays her tune
my mind is laid to rest
she burns her way into my heart
as she descends undressed
my eyes are wide to the cold and damp
ive seen it all before
but now my heart among her clothes
lay silent on the floor
a piper of a million tunes
the sand begins to sink
a billion nameless children
fallow her unto the brink
her eyes cut through skin and bone
so here i lay to rot
empty without my serpentine
a nameless faceless dot
hollow is her flawless smile
among the dessert sun

the makers orchestra quelled unseen
above the puppets strings

i watched two hands standing still
holding onto space
breathing through my skin again

falling through the window
pushing through the door
I'm wreathing through an opening
i've never seen before
these circles seem to capture
my thought in constant flow
gaze into the fog
the creeping death below
the door is warping in again
the hinge about to break
a specters creeping eye
lament a soul to take
there grips about to sever
the wounds about to burst
i've broken every lever
now i fear the worst
this room appears another way somethings been reversed
the hands and circles disappear time and space traversed
in this realm of dissonance a hum of silence grows
why we all must grasp onto this nothing no one knows...

i am just a tired fool
working tilling laid to rest
digging deep countless graves
to rid the world aware

i desired once to rule
now i am a pawn at best
a massing of a million slaves
into the void they stare

you adrift the air so cool
branded with a crest
countless lives emotion saves
into the tide they dare

i am just a fading name
up a voice so sweet
cast aside buried down
beneath a fog so thick

i was once lost untame
humbled by this feet
braving waters off to drown
facing fates cruel trick

you tend and kindle smothered flame
however did we meet
to shed the shackles mesh and crown
like an evening dream faint and quick

cool and calm the breeze so din
finding peace and home there in
beyond the hill a shadows cast
this soothing wind shall be his last
last of many first of one
past the air he tried to run
true and stern his freedom struck
settling deep it finally stuck
embedded in skin
