the piper softly plays her tune
my mind is laid to rest
she burns her way into my heart
as she descends undressed
my eyes are wide to the cold and damp
ive seen it all before
but now my heart among her clothes
lay silent on the floor
a piper of a million tunes
the sand begins to sink
a billion nameless children
fallow her unto the brink
her eyes cut through skin and bone
so here i lay to rot
empty without my serpentine
a nameless faceless dot
hollow is her flawless smile
among the dessert sun
with your words im reassured
for time has just begun
the piper softly plays her tune
my head falls upon her chest
we dance and sing to the moon
again im lain to rest
running,falling through the dark
loss of love,faith,and home
crawl towards the crack of light
seems so scarce and unknown

i have come to pray
for if i doent i fear my angel
may just fly away
i feel her breathe upon my skin
cast out from ruby lips
crimson blood within my veins
cast out flows and drips
i tediously long to find
the source of all this pain
to her im just another child
one among a billion same
the demon of my dreams takes me
how the devil would be proud
the angel of my night awakes me
falling faster off her cloud
the piper plays her final tune
heart drops dead within my chest
we laugh and cry to the moon
and the sun is put to rest
through the veil those sapphire eyes
drain and move the midnight sky's
here lost to thought within your shroud
alone again one in this croud

Dreams, such a common thing...Here you remove all traces of commonality and replace it with exceptionality...Very, very nice piece...I know each time I come back to read it I will experience something new...For me this is the mark of great poetry...
