Today's world of wars is pretty confusing. There is so much question as to who we are fighting and why. I often wonder if the whole thing comes down to the male ego to be honest. Where does the thought of the destruction of others come into play? I hope that you always are able to keep a clear head through what you are about to do and to return to your home with that head. In talking to a few of my friends kids after returning I have seen their minds altered to the point of no return to normality. No return to having peaceful thoughts. I can get my mind around protecting others and have done a part in this myself, but I am fearful when it comes to who creates these offenses and why. I can only pray that what you are about to do is beneficial to the end of what you are about to do.

Will we ever reach peace? The older I get the more I wonder if peace can ever be reached through the means of violence. Seems like to extremes in direct conflict with each other.

Regardless, thank you for being willing to protect my freedom to have these thoughts without being ruled by the mindless evils that wish to take away that very freedom.

My heart goes out and breaks for all the mothers who have had to try to find the answers to why their children must be sacrificed.
