Hi,
It's not easy my friend, I've been doing it for years. I'm a professional musician who has worked with Bowie, Neil Young and done lots of session work.

I'm retired now, but still work as a singer/songwriter/composer. I write and record all my songs and backing tracks at home myself using computers, 50w amp, studio mike, keyboard and all the instruments.

If you want to promote your songs, you will have to arrange the backing tracks and vocals, get them recorded to a good quality, copyright them and email copies to internet, local and national radio stations.

There are many internet sites where you can upload and sell your tracks. If you Google my name (Peter Coia) you will see the sites I use to promote my work. One of the best is

http://www.reverbnation.com/petercoia

You can go there and listen to some of my recordings and if you need to ask anything, there are contact links on the site.

Good luck my friend,
Peter
