As a "nice guy" I cannot help but be the way I am. Because of this, I'm essentially living proof that nice guys do finish last. I have become numb to how things play because of this. My attitude has now turned to "be careful what you wish for" when the "bad boy" is preferred to the "nice guy."
If that makes me sound bitter, I can't help it. Apparently, attention and adoration to a lady doesn't mean as much today than it did in the past. |
