Thats awesome man congradulations!! Its sad when you think your "friends" are really going to be there for you and help you along but then bail out. I feel as though I have become a stronger more responsable person because of it though. I think about it and feel that, how can people who partied hard with me, help me fight that very thing if they themselfs cant do it. i focused alot of my time and energy into more positive things. Glad to hear someone out there knows all about it! thanks for sharing man!

I have recently decided that it was time to snap out of alot of things and get on the road to ritiousness. In the process, all the people who said they would be there to support me were gone. Not a big suprise since I kind of saw it comming. Either way, I am looking for some people who are very involved with music. I am an inventer of sorts, I have been working on a lot of diffrent instruments and finding one that will be diffrent and able to help me express the emotion that I have as i travle through this journey of sobriety. If anyone that reads this is some what of an engineer or has a knowledge of steel instruments, please feel free to write. Even if your not and want to share any type of stories that you have of similar situations, I would love to hear what you all have to say :) thanks everyone!

i tend to agree and the people who wouldnt be given the time of day still wont for the most part. but, on the other end of it, it does broaden your options and make it a little better to find somone. i have been on many sites and had no luck even to meet anyone and im feeling it will be the same with this one but you never know until you try
