I find this a fascinating discussion of power. Women can feel like victims in the dating world, because all men want, is NSA sex, but the reality of it is, is the women have all the power when it comes to the non committed, NSA, hookup type relationship. You’re either going to want to or not. And if you don’t that’s fine, and if you do, great get busy. But remember you don’t even have to put it on your profile. “Not looking for a hookup or ONS.” So you go out on a date dinner drinks dancing or whatever. So you don’t sleep with him, so what? You feel bad? Why? Think about that. I know why.

Now here’s the hard part for women to swallow. Women have all the power in the NSA ONS non committed sexual relationships. But Men have all the power in the LTR Long Term Relationship. The monogamous committed relationships. The reason they have all the power is the same reason the women have the power the other way. Whatever you desire the most gives the other the power. More women are wanting LTRs. Men have to make that leap to make that LTR to happen. More men want casual hookup type sex, it’s up to women to make that decision wether they’re going to allow that to happen. You might want to stop having these dealbreakers about what you want and don’t have such an attachment to the outcome, Rather enjoy each relationship for what it is and allow it to grow organically, and see what flourishes.
