I believe it was the seminole but i could be wrong which is why i'm asking you...the all knowing ONE.............LOL The Seminoles didnt sign a peace treaty, but did sign a treaty with the American government that recognized them as Soverign. The Hopi and the Kootenai tribes never signed any agreement with the US Government at all, but they have also never been in a state of hostility with the US Government. The Taos Pueblo were the only tribe to still be at war with the US Government becasue in the last battle they were all killed, therefore, no peace agreement coudl be established. |
