so are you saying that you should get approval from family and friends on who you can date or not date? no ..i make my decisions, i live with my decisions, plain and simple. if i allowed my friends and family to approve of who i date, i'd never date...at all lol fact is..most would allow that approval or disapproval to influence them..that's just how it is everyone on this thread was saying "race isn't an issue with me" bull$hit..it is with everyone...it always will til we see blind.. period I must disagree with you...I don't think race is an issue for ALL, perhaps some...if we get can't look past the color, than there is a problem... I would, however, agree with you that some people allow others to influence their decisions...pretty sad if you ask me, but those kinds of people have no back bone, so they allow that to happen...it's all good. Your point is not lost, I understand what you were saying...I just don't it's that big of a deal now days...but, good point that you brought up. |

i call bull$hit on all this... say you're one race, and your 'friend' is another..YOU may not have a problem with his/her race..but your family/friends might.. if that happens, you know darn good and well that will influence your decision on being with that person fully yes we're all the same on the inside..but c'mon..be honest with youself..don't just say "oh race ain't no thing with me" cuz you know that if you fall from grace from your loved ones..you more than likely won't do it Maybe for some people... But let's face it, if your friends/family has a problem with it, then thats really too bad...so are you saying that you should get approval from family and friends on who you can date or not date? No one makes decisions about my life, but myself... and if my friends/family had issues with it, then they have issues that they need to correct.... BUT that's just me... |

This is just my opinion...
I think that people emphasize so much on that perfect person...they need to have blond hair, blue eyes, certain height and weight...and certain skin tone...that's all BS, thats why majority of people are still single! You can't help who you fall for, and what they look like or their skin color... Religion, people of the same Religion have arguements...so really who cares, like someone has stated earlier, its all about respect! |
