I just hate to see the country being lead by the same people that attacked the World Trade Centers. Oh but he did join a Church of Christ to improve his popularity rating.

tomie...
I think the dragoness has retreated to her lair. But be assured she will return. It baffles me how ppl can claim to have compassion for unwanted children and yet support abortion. Those very same ppl are appalled at the death penalty. indifferent

mrtxstar,
You're so right, my man. I see people here locally having trouble adopting & many going to foreign countries to adopt. Not that it is wrong, we should care for children across the world. But to have them slaughtered instead of allowing them life unwanted, where is the justice in this? Who gives us the right to enforce that type of justice?
And speaking of injustice, I guess we have done kolhauzer an injustice in detouring his post. Please forgive us again, kolhauzer for this disruption in your thread.
mrtexstar, how many children did you adopt? How old are they now? GOD bless you & your family.

A fetus is not a child, women are not incubators, abortion is not murder.

How barbaric, symplemyne. Oh by the way, kool hair do. Abortion is murder cause it takes a life not only a child. Heartbeats are deteced 3 weeks after conception. If it has a heart it is life, if it has life it is a child. No women are not incubators but should be more responsible with the life they can bring forth.

I am sorry, I will not address the abortion issue on this thread anymore, whoever that was that is calling me out on it.

The death penalty is too definite to allow for mistakes and one can talk about the possible victims if the person walked the street again but we keep them for life all the time and they never walk the streets again unless found innocent by DNA.

Our government cannot be condoned to kill innocents at any level. It is bad enough it is allowed in war. But to have a flawed justice system take a life of a wrongly convicted person should not be allowed. Not with the intelligence of our current society. It was expected in the past because we were ignorant humans and avenging was more animalistic. We are intelligents now, or at least I like to thing we are intelligents now.

This is exactly why you can not seperate the abortion issue and the death penalty. You are so concerned about killing innocent people but the pro-choice ppl do not take that same stance about killing innocent babys. Both anti-death row and pro-choice ppl are mostly liberals. They contradict themselfs.

Back we go, okay my stance on abortion, for those unknown, I don't want to hear one damn word against abortion from NOONE until ALL unwanted children in the WORLD are adopted. NOT one word. If you haven't adopted you have no rights to speak on who can have abortion, about illegality of abortion, about the moral issue of abortion, etc.... PERIOD!

Dragoness, I have adopted 2 & since you demanding rules are enforced, how many have you adopted? What you are saying is that if humans aren't wanted then they should be killed. Are you wanted?

Please forgive me Koulhouszer, for interrrupting your thread again but I feel compelled to show forth evidence on Planned Parenthood that some people close their eyes to. Know what I mean, Dragoness.

After 30 years and 42 million victims, pro-abortion advocates continue their assault on the unborn. As you probably know, Planned Parenthood has a long and disturbing history of promoting abortion in this country. One of its most egregious recent acts involved paying students at an Ohio high school $100 apiece to be "outreach workers," with an additional $5 for each patient they recruit for the local Planned Parenthood clinic.13 Imagine that! They paid $5 for the life of a baby! Consider an "artwork and poster contest" hosted by Planned Parenthood's "SaveRoe.com" Web site. Participants in the poster contest were encouraged to submit "an original piece of artwork or poster that celebrates 30 years of choice and illustrates the concept that 'Behind Every Choice Is a Story.'" But there was a requirement for those wishing to participate: "Children under age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to submit their designs and for us to publish it along with their name."14 The irony is that this stipulation came from an organization that has campaigned relentlessly against parental consent laws and in favor of a young girl's right to terminate her pregnancy without her parents' knowledge! Wall Street Journal columnist James Taranto rightly asked in an editorial, "How come if a kid is old enough to have an abortion, she's not old enough to make a poster celebrating choice?"15

This was taken from Dr. James Dobson's newletter on "Focus on the Family". Can you support your claims, Dragoness?

tomie...
If you stick around long enough, you'll find that dragoness is always sticking her foot in her mouth. Just ignore her and she'll get distracted by something else soon enough. You are right on this issue but she'll never admit she's wrong about anything. I'm sure you know the type.

Hey, mrtxstr, thanks for that insight; I was begining to think so but now, you reasured. GOD bless.

The tax dollars paying for abortions??? I can tell you do not follow politics, Clinton administration, would not allow government to pay for abortions, no medicaid, medicare or any sliding scale income program can fund an abortion. So get it right if you are going to go off on that one.

Thanks for your insight, Dragonness but Planned Parent Hood is funded by our tax dollars in the sum of $267,000,000 of which they are asking for more, of which are our tax dollars of which they are the world leaders in performing abortions. So directly, government doesn't pay for abortions, indirectly, yes. Thank you for you debate on my knowledge.
T:tongue: mie

All of the income invested in planned parenthood is for birth control and classes on birth control, not one red dime is spent on abortion, it is against the federal law instituted during Clintons term in office. Sorry if that offends you.

I think you might ought to double check your information. What do you think birth control is for Planned Parenthood? no it doesn't offend me but a double check is in order.

It never ceases to amaze me how anti-choice people always manage to sneak into the conversation when it comes to the death penalty. Life is life, if that is what you believe then don't be a hypocrate. God made 'em all, innocent or monster they all deserve to live (according to your doctrine).

Excuse me? But you must discern between Adolf Hilter & Mother Theresa. This is a country of free will & of Speech, last time I checked. If you're for the killing of babies, it's your choice. If I'm for the killing of perpetrators, then it's my choice. I wasn't advocating his death in the first place nor sneaking in, Did I touch on a soft spot?

I appreciate your compassion for the victim. Being 'fried' once probably burned up all his nerve endings thus incapacitating him. SO reviving him would have been a cruel way to spend the rest of his life. It may sound cruel but the continuance of 'frying' him was probably more dignified than letting him live.
But consider the 40 million babies aborted since Woe v. Wade was made law. These are innocent victims of mere inconvience and your tax dollars pay for the majority of them.

Hi Sudecia, This is a really good question & took a lot of courage to ask. I pray you get the proper response you're looking for.
As for the act of masturbation, it is not a sin. As mere babies we touch ourselves because it feels good. GOD made us that way. It was HIS gift to us to enjoy sex & touching but under the yoke of marriage.
The sin is the thought process you have while masturbating. Like Jonlaw mentioned, it's lust & we are called to flee from sexual impurities like lustful thoughts. and we are to be in control 1Thesolonians 4:3-6 "....that each of you should learn to control his/her own body in a way that is holy & honorablenot in passionate lust."
Remedy: I've been through an intensive "Every Man's Battle" where we were train or condition to bounce our eyes from sexual impurities or just look the other way. It's a process of relearning what we learned in our past.
I pray this will help you to overcome & be guiltless.GOD bless.

Isn't life strange? When we had a lecture on Essential Oils, they told us how
the foot soles could absorb oils. Their example: Put garlic on your feet and
within 20 minutes you can 'taste' it. Some of us have used Vicks Vaporub for years for everything from chapped lips to sore toes and many body parts
in between. But I've never heard of this. And don't laugh, it works 100% of the
time although the scientists at the Canada Research council (who discovered it) aren't sure why.

To stop nighttime coughing in a child (or adult as we found out personally), put
Vicks Vaporub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime, then cover with socks. Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. Works 100% of the time and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and they will sleep soundly. I heard the head of the Canada Research Council describe these findings on the part of their scientists when they were investigating the effectiveness and
usage of prescription cough medicines in children as compared to alternative
therapies like acupressure.

Just happened to tune in A.M. Radio and picked up this guy talking about why
cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good due to the chemical makeup of these strong drugs so, I listened. It was a surprise finding and found to be more effective than prescribed medicines for children at bedtime, in addition to have a soothing and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly. Polly tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough a few weeks ago and it worked 100%! She said that it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her, coughing stopped in a few minutes and believe me, this was a deep, (incredibly annoying!) every few seconds uncontrollable cough, and she slept cough-free for hours every night that she used it.

If you end up sick, try it yourself and you will be absolutely amazed by the effect.

Hey Rapunzel,
Let me explain the first half...KOOL or Cool thus Klaugh laugh l using the laugh icons as "O"'s lol.
I'm saddened by the thought you're thinking about canceling your existance here. You've been such a blessing for all of us here, let me encourage you to stay on. Your prayers for others who seem to be negative on Christianity are also negative in life in gerneral. They make their claims to be heard of the hurt they are experiencing. So, your prayers are more than simply apprecitated. Please reconsider & may the peace of GOD always be with you no matter what your decision is.

Just want you guys to know you're doing a great job..keep up the good work. My prayers are with you all.
Funches kinda hit on something..other demons there and that's about as far as I'll agree with him on anything.lol There are other issues that lead to co-dependancy like past hurts, loss or death of loved ones, failed relationships, or the way we were brought up. Looking for the root cause can be just as painful and that's where we need the strength of GOD to help us through. Yea, we can choose to quit but the strength comes from GOD who dwells in us.
You guys are covered in prayer & I admire each & every one of you. Feralcatlady...you go girl!!!!
