Well its been fun .. But i deploy in a week and we go offline without warning so im getting my goodbye in. Have been bored on base and this has been a good outlet. Have talked to some fantastic people who i hope to contact in some r n r .. Wish you guys all the best in your future endevours.. I have a job to do and i plan on making this tour count ... Down range ..

Damn it sucks !! .. No motivation and sore as **** ! Even if you've fitness freak all ya life this one can still catch up to ya ;)

I am a trainer at a gym and i always tell people to enjoy excerise, if you dont enjoy it you will not stick to it and the most important part of any excerise is the longevity. you cant work out for two months than not for years, so find something you like and stick with it. excerise does get boring so hopefully you are in an area that can offer a range of excerises or classes. Good luck and have fun. People have teased me over the years for doing belly dancing, the whole Carmen Electra Strip Tease Aerobics and Lap Dance series,etc. I mix it up. I always have. When I was young, I have a male (straight) aerobics instructor and often I went left instead of right, etc. And I was his favorite because I had the most fun and was enjoying myself. It wasn't work to me. Right now, my thing is walking, shooting hoops, and yoga. It changes constantly. Those people were dumb for teasing you. You only have to look at the Zumba craze happening at the moment to see the benefits dance can have in a fitness routine. Good on ya for having the courage to give it a go and set the trend ;) |

The fact that we can cause such death and descruction to a person ... Completley change the way he looks by a bullet down range and still function as human beings is astounding. |

A tribute to my brothers in 2nd Commando Reg. Australian Army.
Special mention to my "Ballistic Brother" .. nickname "Wesley". Finest Sniper i have worked with .. A dangerous dude. The Silent Soldier By G.A.Codling A soldier crawls along a forest floor A match grade barrel to do his chore Blending with the woodland scene He leaves no trace of where he's been A single task occupies his mind To the outside world he is blind One single task, one single goal Only his mission occupies his soul He moves into the open grass The enemy patrol makes a searching pass although they look, they can not see the man moving out from a distant tree One hour, two , three then four He only moves a few feet more Zero hour is getting near He knows his target will soon appear A single man he has been sent to kill and on his hands this man's blood will spill The moment is now, the target's in site Taking up the first pressure the shoot feels right One ounce more on the trigger sear The bullet races away like a high speed spear It races throw the air with a thunderous crack There's a fountain of blood as it exits the man's back The silence is deafening theirs not a single sound as the shooter removes the case of the single spent round His task now done he fades back in to the wood His only trace is a body wear a man once stood.
