If you raised your you would be wrong. read on...
The 13 th amendment did not end slavey... why well read on....

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime where of the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section 2. Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Section 1. "...except as a punishment for crime.... "

Whats your thoughts?

You know thing like this get me, so I would like you to elaborate on this if you don't mind. What is your point?

So what would you suggest we do with criminals? I personally think the death penalty should be used much more than it is. JFI most states have outlawed chain gang activities, due to bleeding hearts that sympathize with criminals.

Did anyone here know that the United States was the first civilized country to ban slavery in the entire world?

What in God's name are you talking about?

I mean, first off, the distinction between civilized and uncivilized countries is a false one to begin with.

And second, the United States was one of the last of the industrialized countries to end slavery, mostly due to the late proliferation of the cotton economy in the south (had it not been for the cotton gin, slavery probably would have ended in the South have a century sooner, and the Civil War would never have been fought).

Hell, even Mexico had laws against slavery before the US banned it on a federal level, which was part of the whole thing with Texas.

Ok to set you straight about this the first slave were brought to Jamestown by the Dutch, who had Baptized them, so according to the laws they could not be enslaved for life but only be indentured servants, just as most Europeans who were sent here. They were not brought to work cotton, they were brought to work the main export which was Tobacco.
The Church and State later fixed this problem of having to free slaves, by amending the law so that if a slaves native country was not Christian they could be enslaved for life, this included offspring. Tobacco taxes were also the reasoning for the revolution, this was also the way we paid for help from other Countries, Promises of Tabacco.

Well I will probably get some nasty feedback for this, but I'm honest, and it's just my opinion.
I could understand not having sex right away, but I would personally never marry someone I haven’t had sex with. Might end up being a real nightmare IMO
