Well, I'm a hard core fan of the original series, having grown up on it in my impressionable youth, but I do LOVE the reboot! I haven't got through all seasons, yet, but I'm working on it.

I'm definitely a planner. I've been that way since I was a kid. I got caught, once, at the end of a 5 year plan cycle without a next step. Ack! For my obsessive need to know what comes next, I was a disaster. Now, I have rotating plans, that cycle on a yearly basis. Each year, I have to reevaluate and reallocate. It's like a business plan. I have spreadsheets and contingency plans and everything.

Short-term: be a stay-at-home mom until Feb'14; teach a dance class at a local studio, get fit, rework a musical I wrote; keep purging stuff from my house

Long-term: return to teaching, focus on my dance and playwriting, and being a mom/wife; family is important to me; prepare for doing my masters

Super-long-term: get my masters in dance education; teach teachers how to teach Dance in schools; get a play published; choreograph/ dance professionally; keep being a mom/wife

"If the opportunity arises" plans: become a paleontologist; read tarot cards for a living; be an artist (paint, sew, dance, perform, write); live in France and/or Hawaii;

Oh! And Oldhippie- if you want to move to New England, then just do it. Follow your heart and your dreams. That is what brings magic into our lives.

I am very glad to hear that she is doing better. I have deep respect for her.

I've managed to make some changes for portion control, and am working on getting my activity levels up, so I hope to see some results in the next couple of weeks. My main issue is that I'm a dance teacher, and without the daily activity I'm used to, my metabolism has totally slowed down! When working, I walk 40 -60 min. a day and then dance for 1 1/2-3 hours. I've gotten myself up to 1 dance class and a yoga/pilates class once a week and one big walk, so now I need to work on the daily exercise.
