I came to the realization that time flies by too fast and looking back, not enjoying yourself and all you have to show for it is working in an office in a tiny little box cubicle is not what I want to remember my life by. Re gas prices - here in Ohio we pay an additional .49 per gallon just in taxes. Congress would like you to believe the oil companies are only at fault (although also part of the problem), they do their best to hide the taxes we pay. So, mad about the whole issue, I did a little math:
Do you realize that after payroll tax, state and local tax, sales tax, property tax, etc., your "true" net pay is less than 50% of your gross? Pathetic! |
