to me a cabin is just a summer home... we have a "camp" which is basically a cabin (no running water though) but we don't consider that "camping."


... I just realized, I have yet to sleep out under the stars. I think it's because I'm afraid I'd get eaten. Or because I'm from Maine, and it's too frikken cold at night...

Reading, gaming, writing, chilling, SLEEPING, preparing for the next barrage of work, listening to music... watching a movie or two... depends on the day

at this point:

1. Mass Effect
2. Rockband (yeah drums)
3. uhh... halo/ff8(never played 7)/ummm... I know there were others... I don't get to play games all that much though.

I don't know if I would or not... it depends on the person... I haven't really had a "first date" persay... it's mostly like "hey, you're my friend, lets go watch a movie" that slowly evolves to "Hey I think I like you, let's make out" (exaggerated a bit of course).

my dad and brothers were hardcore campers. We had one of those reflective oven things you set by the fire, and we had BISQUITS it was awesome... I think that was one of the few times we ever got bisquits. mmm....

Camping is awesome... until your brother tells you a horror story, your cat jumps on top of the tent, almost making it collapse, and you think you're going to be eaten. Haha... okay, even then it's still awesome.

Hellz yeah! I used to do it all the time! Last summer, I missed camping so much, I set up a tent in my yard, just for funsies.

August 7th... I want a flask

Haha, sometimes I'm not even sure what age I really am. People older than me just seem so much older, because they've been out in the "real world." And people younger than me make me feel like a skeezeball or stalker. I'm stuck between kid and adult.

Depends on the day... or how tired I am... or how much sugar i've had...

Generally, I'm a sucker for bright blue eyes... or bright green eyes... then again, brown soulful eyes are a classic...

also, wrestling/boxing/roughhousing... nothing says love like getting someone in a chokehold. hahaha.

I'm exausted. I've been studying all night... (except for when I paused to watch a horrible dating show, just to give my brain a break) Ima need to get something with sugar in it to kickstart today.

I love my character... I just go "eeeeeee!" every time I start playing.

... and I always have to go "Wheee!" or even "WheeoooWheeooo!" when I'm driving the Mako.

I lurves it.

I collect rocks... and shiny bits... and ticket stubs... and army metn... and books by my favorite author...

Hailz yeah girls should wrestle... or learn any other martial art for that matter. I can beat a couple of my college friends, and it makes me feel a little safer walking the streets.

Sure it's probably not quite the same competition level, but it's definitely a confidence booster.

Also... waaaay too many guys with their minds in the gutter today, haha. Frikken mud.... I mean I love mud, but I'm not going to wrestle in it. Psht... you'd get gravel ground into places I don't even want to think about... ick.

Being a middle child made me more insane. Oh man, it was ridiculous.

I'm a middle child, and I can be pretty unique. I have a sound effect I can make, that no one I have ever met has been able to make yet. Also, I'm missing a kidney. And my tonsils.

A dark path he trod,
his light was dim,
yet naught but God
would frighten him.

Upon the gate
there was a head,
which rolled its gorey eyes
and said:

"No man may enter here save one,
else eager ghoulies get their fun!"

He faultered not,
released the hinge
his eyes were hot,
though he did not cringe.

Upon a pillar
there was a crow
who opened his beak
to say "do you know,

"The man who dwells here, he is no fool,
Turn back now or face the ghoul!"

He did not flinch,
nor bat an eye,
and in a cinch,
the crow did fly.

On he soldiered,
past horrors deep,
like things that whispered
in your sleep.

Upon a pile of rotted bones,
there stood a pair of nimble gnomes
they stared at him for a short time,
and then in chorus did they chime:

"Take heed, young warrior, don't be so numb,
for soon the haunting time will come!"

He did not pause
he did not shout,
and soon the gnomes
did wander out.

Soon, upon the door he knocked,
and not long after the whole house rocked,
as booming voice called out to him,
with a raucous mighty din:

"Who is he, dares enter here,
against the warnings he did hear?"

The boy, he stood there, patiently
while unseen hand did turn a key.

"What do you want?!" yelled a man quite old
quite antisocial, and known as cold.

The boy just stood there,
his hair was neat
and with his hands spelled
"Trick or Treat."



.... not quite sure where I was going with this now... but I guess it's kinda cute. It doesn't feel quite done yet, but I'll work on it.

I think almost anyone who's had to try and grow up can relate to this... especially college students who suddenly realize, they've no clue what they're going to do with their major.

That sounds very familliar, but I can't place it. I'm ready to go anywhere except where I am... I just need to move foreward somehow.
