An honest poem..brokenheart

Memory of Love
Sylent 1

I have tasted the lips of a passionate woman.
I have tasted her tongue as she tasted my mouth.
I have felt the pleasure between her legs.
I made love to her very soul.
I felt her heart beat as I was in her.
I gave her my world as I came.
That was the last time I felt true love.

A dark poem...embarassed

The Death of Heart
By Sylent 1

I have tasted desires lips
with the scent of their flesh.
I have given my soul
to temporal pleasure.
With a fractioned heart
I sipped on her nectar.
Now my fractioned heart has
turned gangrene within me.

I just finished posting these quotes on myspace and myyearbook...

All our young lives we search for someone to love. Someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance to a song of heartbreak and hope. All the while wondering if somewhere, somehow, there's someone perfect who might be searching for us.
-Kevin Arnold (Daniel Stern) narrating in The Wonder Years (1988)

The Encyclopedia Galactica, in its chapter on Love states that it is far too complicated to define. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has this to say on the subject of love: Avoid, if at all possible.
-Douglas Adams in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

True love is your soul's recognition of its counterpoint in another.
-John Beckwith ( Owen Wilson) in Wedding Crashers

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love. -Neil Gaiman

Yeah I don't want to go out "hunting" but I do want to go out to meet people. Don't get me wrong if there is a woman out there that is open to me then that is a bonus..but I just don't want to look...ummmhh whats the word...pathetic???laugh

OH! Ok so I get it. So if you personally feel alone then going out alone is going to make you feel sad. If you like being alone and are confortable by yourself then you will enjoy going out alone. Right???

So I guess it really depends on the individual???

I wrote this one for a girl I knew. I never dated her but I always had a secret attraction to her...

Amanda

Slinky silhouette with a lit cigarette
Mesmerizing eyes that kill me inside
She wears stilettos, just for effect
Lover, you could be the death of me.
I breathe quicker with every step.
Her delicious smile is like her delicious dress.

Slinky silhouette with a lit cigarette
Mesmerizing eyes that kill me inside
My eyes see what my heart knows.
She is the desire in my very breath.
Kiss me my love with your lips poised so.
Give me your body and I will give you my soul.

I will let this poem stand on its own. Things are not always black and white. Life is almost always filled with grey...

X X
By Sylent1

I dreamt of zombies today.
They do not give or receive love.
In ignorant bliss they live.
Attentively I listen with care to all you say.
Your feminine words I combine with circumstance to comprehend.
I dissect the meanings and that which you emphasize.
Until I understand what you hide beneath your skin.
Through clinched teeth and constant pain I say it is better this way.
I dreamt of zombies today.
They do not give or receive love.
In ignorant bliss they live.
Tangled are the relationships we weave.
Twisted and knotted and half understood.
We all desire more but settle for less.
Our hearts always lean to one side or another.
I dreamt of zombies today.

That is a beautiful poem. Here is one I wrote...

Sincerely
By Sylent1

The wind sooths the itching in my brain.
Calming the vexes of this life that consume me.
The silence possesses me as I walk away.
Seeping into every part of my being.
The crushing of fallen leaves frees my soul.
My burdens die every time the earth and I unite
All that is left in my soul is you.
You replace all the dross in me.
The sweetness of you fills me.
Your love is the only thing left in my shell.
Come with me my love.
Loosen your paradigm and let me lead.
Free your mind and follow me.
I can lead now that I am pure.
I can carry you away from your troubles.
I desire you to fill my being.
Love me with all of you.
I love you sincerely with all of me

Torn
By Sylent1

I watched you pack your suitcase today.
I could barely breathe as I watched.
The scent of your perfume still filled the air.
The taste of your nectar was still on my lips.
I watched you pack your suitcase today.
I could barely breathe as I watched.
The memory of us making love was still ablaze in my mind.
I could vividly remember the passion in your touch.
I watched you pack your suitcase today.
I could barely breathe as I watched.
I watched as you pack all your intimate things.
I watched as you neatly folded our passions away.
I watched you pack your suitcase today.
I could barely breathe as I watched.
I wanted to scream to you at the top of my lungs.
I wanted to beg “please don’t go”.
I watched you pack your suitcase today.
I could barely breathe as I watched.
As you quietly walked out of our door today;
You silently tore me apart.

I think on both accounts it is a bit of shyness and insecurity! :)
