My point is and always has been... If you want to have a discussion regarding a candidate from either side..then stick to the facts and the issues we are dealing with in the real world. Coloring those facts..or as some tend to do..Write and republish absolute fiction... Simply does not help. It actually puts off people.

At least.. verify the 'facts' published. Use them in such a way that backs your argument, but not in a spun way. When writing about stuff such as this, at least make an attempt to appear knowledgeable and intelligent. As opposed to being a frickin parrot.

If we could all do that? We would all be better informed. Be better prepared to make better choices for ourselves.

Most often using others unfounded and unproven writings. Without taking any time to actually research the veracity of what is republished.

McCains ranking low was due to disciplinary actions as a boy, or young man. Which really has little to do with who he is as a full grown man.

I must say... It does a Psyche good to be too busy to sign on here for several days, every once in a while.

I wouldn't let a bad experience with a few paint an entire picture for a group.
There are good people who are cops..as well as bad.

Same thing can be said for any other profession too.

I'm sure many of us would consider ourselves professionals at what we do. Regardless if it is a profession or not. There is certainly no harm in that.

However, there are certain occupations that merit the term, where others don't.

Some characteristics of a profession are:
*An advanced knowledge gained by experience and formal training.

*Ethical codes established and enforced, either or both within the profession and by some other regulatory establishment.

*Licensing of practitioners.

*The occupation being legally recognised as a profession.


Many parts of my occupation are one of those grey areas. Anyone can call themselves a professional computer engineer, despite their level of skill, training and experience. The industry is still too young to have been fully professionalized, and is completely unregulated.

Unlike Medicine, Law, Civil Engineering, Teaching, Accounting.... Etc...

Uh-huh... I can't fault a guy for having good taste. I'd be deluded to think that I am the only one who thinks she is attractive.
How realistic would it be for me to travel the country, putting people to sleep... Every time some guy expressed their attraction to lilith? I could think of a few things I'd rather be doing that are much more productive.

My Mom went back to work when I was still shorter then the kitchen counter... Trusting that my older siblings would feed me.

If I did not learn to cook? I doubt I would have made it to my 10th birthday! Let alone survived after leaving home at age 15. I earned my way through High School, cooking in 4 and 5 star restaurants.
