Drink a lot of water to help flush the nicotine out of your system. The cravings will come and they will pass--that is, they will go away if you don't get your nicotine fix.

I've been off nicotine for seven years after a long struggle. Doing what you're doing now (asking for help) helped me turn the corner.

The replacement theory has it's place. I replaced smoking with breathing, as in meditation.
