Did you ask them to show you more stuff? usually RN's don't mind teaching- ask them to let you practice blood draws- ask them questions - pick their brains- be proactive- let them know you are not just a lazy kid wasting their time just to finis a course- show them you know how to do more stuff- gain their trust
when i did my externship- i was all over the place- asking questions- so they just threw me in- sink or swim- it was fun- hopefully things will change for you |
