The idea that God never gives us more than we can bear is crap. In His defense I will say that He never lets us wade through it alone. He gives us family and friends, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and sometimes even perfect strangers to help us carry our burdens. I am so sorry that you have been through all the many difficult times you have. As sure as you have had these sorrows, you have been an inspiration to others by how you have dealt with them. Cancer is a very scary thing to hear come out of your doctor's mouth. I hope that this trial will be shortlived and you will overcome and continue to persevere.
