Separated is fine to put on your profile, as long as you take the time to explain your situation. The tricky part here is to make sure that YOU are ready for a new woman. You may think so right now, but if you're not sure, keep in mind how a new lady might react....umm..speaking from experience - I've met a separated guy, and trust me, you can be all over the place, seeing as how you're in a confusing place right now.
