Talk about a making a clean break and putting an exclamation point on all that you have told him. You take control back into your hands and you have the opportunity to start fresh in an environment that is not laced with memories of all that you did together in a house/apartment.

I agree Charisma, stick to your guns. Those relationships, if they bother you, will rarely stop bothering you. So deal with it up front. Especially if the ladies are single, ex's, or he slept with them. A guy never forgets what it's like to have sex with a girl. And yet, he forgets just enough to want to refresh his memory all over again with the passing of time.

I alsways say, if you don't want to drink, don't sit at the bar. If you don't want to cheat, minimize your contact with the women (or men) that you are attracted to.

I'm not as emotionally driven when it comes to relationships. I can honestly say I've never fallen in love. I've fallen into lust quite a few times, but love is something I chose to do. In choosing, I can evaluate the person and see where we compliment each other. Where we each make the other better. Is this a relationship that can bear fruit or is it destructive in one way or another.

If you think about it, you can consider what is attracting you and then consider how it could possibly become an issue. If you can deal with the issue than you're a bit safer moving forward. That's prudent. And in this day and age, prudent is good.
