Getting ready to go to Lowes to buy flowers, etc. Can get lost there after only going for one thing, lol. Yard work first before it gets too too hot, been over 100 every day the past two weeks, enough of a good thing already! Family is coming in town for the day and not sure what they want to do yet. How about yourself?

I agree with Cinda and glad to hear your little girl is okay. We do have wonderful people in Oklahoma. I moved away for 16 years and as much as I enjoyed living in SC, I always wanted to come back home to Oklahoma. I am proud to be a Native American and I'm proud to live in Oklahoma again. I wasn't born in OK, but spent all my life in Oklahoma. My family roots are in Oklahoma and Kansas and I have pride in my heritage. Smiling Faces and Beautiful Places (hope that is the correct way, will have to look at my old car tag lol, but we had that in South Carolina but Oklahoma could also be known for that too. We are just as friendly here as they are there and we have some wonderful places to visit too. Wonderful lakes and scenery. I also missed the open spaces out here while I was living out there. As my dad always called this part in Green Country in Northeastern Oklahoma... This is God's Country. Hey there, how have you been? Are you still up by Skiatook? |

Hi, Merle. Thankful to have electricity once again, don't know how much we depend on it till we're out. Just as I was about to answer to you yesterday, whole neighborhood had power outage and just getting back on. Alot of new construction and apparently lines were mistakenly downed.
