This is something Obama will have to decide. Better to stop the threat to Israel and Pakistan now than after Iran starts screaming again that Israel should be removed from the map. It's so obvious that Iran is just buying time while preparing to put warheads together. They also threaten the West as well. Destroying their capability now will bring about regime change. I do not mean that we should invade. Don't forget, Iran, like Iraq is now in violation of IAEC (International Atomic Energy Commission; i.e. United Nations) Also, last year several tons of yellow-cake (Uranium sulfate) were found in Iraq and sent to Canada for processing into reactor fuel). How many innocent people will suffer and die when a nuclear weapon is used ? And where will it end ? The report on Snopes says it was all still stored materials from before 1991, before the first invasion, from nuclear reactors that were destroyed in the 1980's http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/yellowcake.asp I may be missing something here, but haven't we had nuclear weapons for years? Why would we be so arrogant to think that we are the only ones who should? Oh, yeah, our allies can have them, too, right? No intimidation there!

Oh you mean like what the DEMs did to any REP initiative...scare mongering? Bush bashing...it didn't work. OTOH... facts ARE facts & we all know that DEMS take no responsiblity for anything or they would have been voted out of office as well. So much for their own voters holding them accountable and all that. Right? I do want to see OBAMA succeed. That might mean throwing out all the LIBS in two years though. Can you handle that? You need to be careful, Quick, someone might call you loony!

The only way I will get pissed is if I mess up something for our holiday dinner. I am doing my first holiday ever at my house. I just hope I don't screw it up. Don't worry. You'll do just fine. Give them a little booze to prime the pump so to speak. A little, I said... because there's always a puker in the group.

It annoys me when people complain and criticize others on here because of there choice of posts. Get over yourself already! If you don't want to read something, move on! It's very intimidating to those who are not in the "in crowd" when they get berated for posting on a topic that was recently posted by someone else, or post on a topic someone doesn't like.
And, while I'm pissing people off anyway, I hate it when a couple of people turn a good topic into their own personal chat room. Commenting to each other, ok, getting to the point of literally needing to get a room, not ok!

I don't know of any other country that people are sneaking into by the millions They're sneaking in because there are jobs that Americans won't do that pay better than their own country. Many of them sent money home to their families. The American dream has become the American greed...IMHO.

it bothers me sometimes how self centred and self righteous americans are. the world doesn't hate you, the world just rolls our eyes, shake our heads and tsk at you people at the times when you display your monumental arrogance then get on with our humble lives onto more important endeavors. *typical americam response,"you are just jealous of our profound and mindblowing greatness!!" at which point i roll my eyes and move onto another thread* Ok, we need a standing ovation emoticon!

Does this really surprise anybody? This whole deal has had an air of business as usually! This plan for the auto makers is more sensible. Why wasn't this done for Wall St? The Wall St. deal was either brokered, or, lesson learned. I haven't figured which, yet. 
We gotta start paying better attention before we get screwed!

Kidney Stones

I had a kidney stone 30 years ago that for a couple of hours was mistaken for a tubal pregnancy by the ER staff, even though I kept telling them that wasn't possible.
I passed it on my own which is such a relief. Back then, they did not tell me to change my diet. I drink coffee and lots of tea daily, sodas occasionally. I have never drank or used lemon juice frequently. I have not had another kidney stone since, but I did have my gall bladder removed. I hope your as lucky as I've been! I know how painful it is.
