If you still have that PC, listen. The virus you are talking about is not in your operating system nor your registry.... And you can not get rid of it by formatting your disk or re-installing.. your system has a drive virus. This makes your PC keep rebooting ...You have to re install again but this time do not format the drive. Wait till windows ask you [Do you want to format this partion?] Don't, in stead delete the partion then create another fresh new. Now, install.

Connect the printer to the PC. Wait till it says unable to install hardware, [leave it connected]. Now go online and type in [advance system care driver booster]. Download and install it. Now it will update any missing drivers Scott free.
