If you don't believe in any greater being or greater truth what is the motivation to do anything? Why do things that benefit your family, why try to better yourself? What is to keep you from being totally selfish or basely instinctual? I'm not judging I'm seriously curious. BTW- I'm agnostic. I'll answer for you. Because it makes me happy. It makes me happy to know I'm doing the right thing and making others happy. I also tend to feel really anxious and sad if I do anything I shouldn't have. Or if I didn't do something when I should have. I strive to better myself for the people who believed that I could. I couldn't bare to let them down. |

I'm good at keeping secrets. The only time I slip up is when I don't remember that it was supposed to be a secret
I can't lie to people when they ask me about it either. So I just tell them that I am choosing to remain silent. Surprisingly, I haven't had any problems with saying that. |

I'm perfectly happy knowing that when I die my body will return to the Earth by means of decomposition. It makes me happy to know that I can give at least a little bit back to the planet that has supported me for so many years. After all, I've already taken so much. Well if you intend to be buried in a casket, your body will not be giving anything back to the earth for a long time. So you had better donate you body to a forensic lab that puts bodies on the ground to study their decomposition process. If you are cremated, how much will that give back to the earth? Ashes? JB Eh, that's the problem. Most cemeteries require caskets now, I believe. I'd much rather not be buried in a cemetery at all. I'll just have to try and look for other options and see if I can find a happy medium. Why would I be cremated? That's a waste. |
