There is no "versus" involved in this discussion. Creationism has no science to it, it is a belief in the scientifically unprovable. Evolution is the science of how biologically organisms change over time due to their environment and their biological needs. No comparison here. As for the chimp question. We did not evolve from chimps they are on the same family tree as we are. Which means we have a similar ancestor in the far past. Not so unbelievable if you look at it from the logical point of view without the bias of religion to cloud the issue. Congratulations Dragoness you're the 1 millionth person to explain that to MorningSong! :D Would you like the XBOX 360 or iPod? |

So...what you are implying is.... some chimps evolved ..... and some chimps didn't... since we still see chimps around today. Is that it? So...You've been on these forums how long? And you still think humans came from chimps? Just leave, seriously. It gets explained in every single thread. |

It's only dancing, you just happen to be naked while doing it. If a person wants to dance naked for money good for them. I'm going to step out of this topic now It's not a sin in everyone's book. Hell, my religion has an entire holiday for sex. And it depends on how you define lust. Some say that, in the bible, lust is when a man is attracted to another man's wife. If the stripper isn't married than it's not lust, now is it? |

I thought Rob Zombie's Halloween was pretty good. It filled in a lot of gaps from the original one. It actually introduced you to Michael Myers before he was "MICHAEL MYERS". That said, it was your typical horror movie for the most part. Teenage chicks screaming and running around half-naked being chased by some psychopath. I LOVE his House of 1,000 Corpses franchise and I hope he continues it somehow, like a prequel maybe. What would truly be scary is a good Ed Gein movie. Can't beat true stories, adds so much to the creep factor. I'm tired of the whole comic book to movie thing. Other than Iron Man and 300 most of them don't impress me much. Most of them suck. I wish directors would go back to the old school special effects too. REAL material looks REAL. CGI is fake, and looks fake. Why oh why don't they get that? Money over artistry. Shameful. Really good point, you see the mist? it wasn't just the ending that made it suck balls, it was the fact that every damn monster in that movie looked like it jumped out of a video game, they need to use prostetics more, Like the movie Slither, they drained the national supply of that ****. How was the ending bad? Because it was innovative? That was one of the best endings to a movie I have seen in a long time. I agree that the CG was bad, though. They had a low production cost so it was to be expected. |

Well first of all...no the pictures you showed there is to many gaps and if I am to believe that an elephant came from a rhino then why are they still here. No sorry doesn't prove it enough for me...they were schoolish at best. I know you creationists like pictures... Horses: http://laelaps.files.wordpress.com/2007/09/mcfaddenhorsephylo2005.jpg Elephants/Manatees: http://www.is.wayne.edu/mnissani/elephant/Image196.gif Are we really debating were ostriches came from? Really? Here, have an Ornithimimus: http://www.paleodirect.com/images/textimages/ornithomineo2b.jpg Firstly, yes it has gaps. It's a simplified picture. Also, do you know how hard it is to find a fossil? Of course there's going to be gaps or else we'd have to dig up every single body of every single elephant that ever lived. Go out in your backyard and find a fossil. It's not easy. Secondly, that's not a rhino. Look at the picture again. Rhinos and elephants have a similar ancestor. Here's a closeup for you: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/07/Dinoceros.png <-----Not a rhino And thirdly, address all my points from now on, please. What about the horse and ostrich? |

I've read it. It didn't change a thing for me. I’m sorry to here that take a second look. EPHESIANS 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Oh my. After reading your copy and pasted Bible verse I finally see the truth! GOD IS REA- Nah, just kidding. I'm still a Pagan, lol. |

The law of chastity is the Lord’s law of personal purity. This commandment states that there must be no sexual intimacy, except between a man and a woman who have been legally and lawfully married. God knows that by following this law, we will have greater happiness and blessings and find deeper marital love in our families. Then how do you explain the higher rate of divorce among Christians when compared to that of Atheists? -Kerry O. And your proof It has nothing to do with religion....and all about taking the easy way out....I have been with my husband for 29 years......and no divorce in sight...and as with all my Christian friends....the same...all married over 25 years....so take that statistic and I would say your wrong......info based on 15 couples that I know personally) http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_dira.htm There's your proof. Hell, just do a Google search, there's pages of it. |
