What area of Scotland are you going to be in? I have friends in Kirkcaldy that I have visited a few times. My question would be, are you into the natural beauty, history or the castles, buildings, cities, etc?

I personally love all the castles and small towns; Some of my fav's are...Glencoe(beautiful, mountains, haunted). Killin (river runs through). Aberfeldy(Distillery, Black watch pub).

Mid sized cities; Stirling(castle). Fort William(Ben Nevis, port, shopping). Kirkcaldy(Firth of Forth, coastal towns)

Cities; Glasgow(shopping, big ornate buildings). Edinburgh(Shopping, Castle)

P.S. down around London. My fav areas were Bourton-on-the-water and Warwick castle.

I can get into a lot more detail if I know what your likes/interests are and if your going to be in areas that I have visited :)
