It's beyond creepy and psychotic.

If someone is willing to "die for you", that is incredibly selfish. The person they are "dying for" is going to spend the rest of thier life with all this pressure that they have to be this person who does all these miraculous things like cure cancer or the common cold or end world hunger. Sure, we need people to do this in the world but it shouldn't be under extreme duress because they feel like their life has to be extra special because someone died in order to keep them here on this earth. Also, you have to grieve their death. That's just mean to make someone grieve so that you don't have to grieve when they die.

Oh..and also...in what scenerio would anyone ever need to jump on a blade for someone else? Does that mean that someone else is coming at you with a huge sword and that he heroically jumps on the blade to save it from ripping through your flesh? That is the only scenerio I can think of when someone would be able to even "jump on a blade for ya"
