Good Morning everyone! Finished with coffee. Should be starting my day but can't seem to get away from pc.

I have been on this site for a little while. No I have not met anyone in person yet, but I have met some really nice people. I have been talking to a guy for a couple of months, but not quite ready to meet in person. I don't understand the guys who send a message that says hey you want to go out? I don't know anything about them. I think you should try to get to know a little about them first. Anyway I love this site. If I find the right one great, if not so be it.

My friend and I talk everyday, but if see is dating someone, then I don't hear from her near as much. Maybe that is what is going on with your friend. When the relationship is over I usually hear from her everyday again. What are best friends for if you can't count on them to be there to pick of the pieces? I wouldn't give up my best friend for anything. Is there anyway you two could get together in person for a day of fun?

Good Morning everyone! Just having my first cup of coffee. Woke up a little late today. I'm blaming it on the rain.

I was glad to see Adam lose, only because he won't be under contract with American Idol. He can now do his own thing. I can't wait to buy his cd. I think he has way more talent than Kris. Ane what does his sexual choice have to do with his talent? Who cares really? I just love to hear him singe.

I remember the extra things my parents did for Christmas cash. We use to pick up corn the farmes left behind. My dad would take it to the elevator. My parents made Christmas corsages to sell. They were beautiful. No one wears them anymore. People dressed to the hilt for the Christmas Plays. Now we don't even have Christmas plays anymore. It is really sad. How about school carnivals in the gym. We even had a kissing booth. Threw cream whip pies at the teachers. Remember getting together to decorate the floats for Homecoming parades? We don't even have floats anymore. These kids are missing so much fun.

If everyone would find a little compassion in there hearts this would be a lot better world we live in. I went to Wally World last year to buy a Christmas Tree. I was really late getting the tree because I was waiting for my daughter to come home from college. Anyway I went there to get a tree, they were on clearence for $5.00. I was so happy to save a little money because they had stopped all our over time at work. When I left, there was a man standing on the side of the road with his dog and a sign asking for help. I pulled over and gave him all the cash I had, which wasn't that much. I talked to him for a few minutes. When I left I was so touched I cryed all the way home. It sure made my day and made me so thankful for what I have.

Weren't those stamps called S&H green stamps?

Those sure brought back memories. I remember getting my first pair of go go boots. I thought I was so cool. I couldn't wait to get the surprise out of the Cracker Jack box. We were so happy to go to Sandys for a hamburger and shake, piling in the car to see where the fire was, babysitting so I could buy that 45 record. Mom made a lot of our clothes. Do you remember the paper dresses?

What a moving story. Loved it. With so many people losing there jobs these days, you never know when you might be that person on the street. I would only hope to meet people like that lady.

Yes, my son called and we were done talking we said bye. Then my phone rang. It was my son calling back to say he loved me. Almost made me cry.
