One9Delta, I hear ya bro. I used to hate smokers with a passion. I actually picked it up while in Bosnia. Dipping came shortly after, my roommate was from West "by God" Virginia after all.

People put their best foot forward when meeting others, it takes time for the facade to fade. Then you see the good, as well as the bad. Very few people are secure enough (or confident enough) to show faults to others immediately.
I'm an idealist and wish it was different, but I'm enough of a realist to understand this and prepare accordingly... at least then I'll be pleasantly surprised, rather than disappointed. |

I picked up smoking and dipping in the Military. Personally I'd rather dip than smoke, both are bad for you, but at least with dipping my lungs aren't ruined on top of the cancer risk.
I quit smoking completely about two years ago, but still dip. I have become so accustom to it that I don't spit any more. The only way people can tell if I'm dipping is because on the bulge in my lip. Good hygene is also important though. No one wants a partner with brown stained teeth. |
