Well, the sad thing is, this is normal for us, the back and forth thing. However, he's never actually told me not to write him before. And yeah I guess I'm not willing to block him because I want to see if he writes again, so I can ignore him.

Yeah we had an emotional connection and a tiny part of me still likes him, but I will not give him the satisfaction of writing him back. My pride won't let me do that.


That tiny part is more like a bigger part....if you are asking advice about it on a blog. Is he a good person, in general? Someone who you may be able to connect with, with a bit of patience or forgiveness? Was he rude just once?

There is something that makes you feel this way, something apparently good about him...for you to still feel this.

Pride is a terrible thing sometimes, it keeps us from those who may love us one day-and vice versa. Usually when someone is rude to me and I have tried all recourse and run out of patience, I do block them but usually if I have had some investment with him...I let them know why first.

People can be rude and threaten for many reasons....

Controlling-meanspiritedness-bitter from the past and it is triggered by something you inadvertantly said or typed. they take it as rejection.

Usually when this happens and you have already had many e-mails and correspondence with someone...it usually means that the person has already become emotionally connected, enough to be upset, they are seeking a way to reach you, not a good way though. Usually feelings are involved in it. And if it goes back and forth..well it means you both have some type of feelings invested..hopes...
