Head Start teacher here, I agree that he or she needed the pop on the heiny, too many children today have NO boundries. I deal with 15 to 20 3 to 5 yr olds everyday who think it is just fine to kick, bite, slap and curse at the teachers. It scares the he** out of me to know these are the children who will someday be the ones running our country. I believe that when they took the control away from parents and teachers that they really screwed up. Do I believe you should hit your children just because, No, absolutely not, but I also know there is a very fine line between discipline and abuse. The child wasn't beaten, but it took that pop to get their attention. Parents and teachers need to be in control, or the children who will someday run our country will be totally out of control.

June 2004 last vacation was from Fayetteville, NC to Flagstaff, AZ with my grandkids, on the road for 30 days, had a blast, and I can't wait to do it again.

Get to see my son in Ohio and can't think of any better way to spend it. At least until I can find someone else to spend my time with. It's a New Year and maybe it will be my time to find love or at least someone to learn to live life with again.
I miss my son, haven't seen him in 2 yrs. so this will be a wonderful visit. |
