I’ve wasted years being unhappy trying to make this marriage work just because of my kids, so now that we are where we are, I don't see a reason why I should wait until I am divorced.... I deserve to live my life and find someone who i can be happy with.

The 'reason' you lost sight of is the role modeling you provide your kids. Just like you were hoping to show them to work on a marriage when you hit the bumps, you can continue to role model honorable behavior.

You can work on yourself as an individual while you are finalising a divorce and show your kids that this is how you show respect to them, yourself, your ex, and even your potential new someone.

I absolutely do, my ex to be and I are very civilized, and we're just letting attorneys do their work.
I made it clear to her that there is no getting back... and I made it clear to my kids that we can be divorced without hating each other.I wish her happiness, but we just cannot be happy together.

I didn't lie to you folks, although I could've said single or divorced, but I choose the truth.... if a woman is not comfortable being involved with a separated man, I wouldn't want her to be involved with me.

I've been separated for almost 8 months... my ex to be and I are living a totally separate lives... we're in court for custody... but other than that, there is no connection.... I know from my side there is no turning back.... I don't even like being around her... although legall we're not, but as far as I am concern we're over.

Hello Kelly and welcome, separation is not the end, it could be the begining of an exciting, wonderful years to come.

Just hang in there and be patient, it'll get better.

Best wishes.

hopes and dreams are the engine that drives you to success... but you need to be able to adjust as you go along and keep a positive outlook, other wise your engine is going to get broken and ineffective.
life without hopes and dreams is not worth living.

I think the Idea of $200 jeans is ridiculous.... a friend was bragging about his $250 jeans, I didn’t have the heart to tell him they look hideous on him.

I don't think it's a big deal, if someone wants to harm children, neighborhoods are full of them.
What I don’t like is for someone post 10 pictures of their pets and the one of themselves the person is too small i can barely see.

We have several surprise restaurants in Sacramento. My favorite is called The Kitchen. It’s so exclusive they don’t even have a sign on the building. You just know it’s The Kitchen. laugh

After your server gets the table started with wine or cocktails, the chef comes out to introduce himself, find out your dietary needs (diabetics, vegetarians, etc) and then prepares a 4-course off-menu meal.

The last time I was there, I received a bruschetta truffle antipasto, a spinach salad with caramelized walnuts, cranberries, and tangerine slices with yellow tomatoes and topped with feta cheese, a smoked portobello and asparagus grill with sautéed butternut squash entree, and dessert was a 2die4 raspberry sorbet with fresh fruit and a chocolate glaze.

The entire dining experience is about 4 hours. It's about $200 each with drinks but well worth it!!! love

You can order on the menu but what fun is that? spock

I only go a few of times a year so I get a craving for it and really delight in every last bite! love

Where is your reply to me? what laugh

LOL, when I was in Italy I went to a restaurant that had a similar service... the food was awesome!! The surroundings was breath taking; I would love to do it again.

all starch? is that better than a whopper? neither sound healthy lol!

I didn't say I ate the whole loaf, i just had a couple of slices... olive oil and balsamic vineger don't compare to to saturated fat in whopper.

I am going to grill chicken/steak later when my guests arrive.

I was traveling most of the day, around noon I started feeling hungry, but my health conscious would let me cave in for a whopper…. When I got home this evening I was so hungry I can eat a cow, so I pulled a fresh loaf of Italian bread and put it in the oven to munch on as I am making dinner, by the time I changed clothes, the loaf was hot… in a small bowl I mixed extra virgin olive oil with balsamic vinegar, that simple meal was by far one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life.
What’s your best meal?
