The other Texas Rose is right. Traffic in Houston is a nightmare. I live in the Dallas area, but have traveled to Houston quite a bit. The cost of living in Texas is much lower than NY, and there is no state income tax.
There are alot of nice restaurants and night life there. Houston is definitely NOT in the "country". |

One good thing about the site is learning there are so many others who have been through some of the experiences you have, and learning how they have dealt with them. It also makes you not feel so alone about your own experiences.

No. But I think it serves the person well if they chose to use the bad things to become a stronger and overall better person. Appreciation comes from good and bad... it is a choice. I agree with above, but would add something else. Sometimes, the bad things that happen are a result of poor choices people bring upon themselves. |

Everyone needs to go through the grief process. Lex is going through his.
I went through a relationship once where the person hurt me time and time again, yet I always seemed to forgive and try once more. I adored this person in many ways, but his character flaws eventually slapped me so hard in the face, I had to peel myself off the floor and take notice. I can never go back to that.... but do I still carry a torch for him? YES. |
