It's funny, I posted about getting dumped yesterday and -- zoom -- the profile views shot up like crazy. Never had so many views in one day before.

Of course, still nobody writes....

If people won't talk on JustSayHi, does that mean there's a site called JustShutUp where they do talk to you? Or is that a little too close to being a koan?

Hey, I been dumped too. After two dates. She said she was more interested in someone else. OK. I'll buy that. I don't have much time or money to spend on someone and my house isn't the best so if someone's looking for a prince, I ain't the guy.

Some people'll write you a time or two on JSH here and then drop off. But the people who do write regularly are cool and there are some that do.

Keep posting on the forums. People who live far away probably won't send you e-mails, I figure, although I have had 'em from around the midwest here.

Pray about it. I said a prayer for you and if God wants it to happen, it'll happen. till then, hang out with us in the forums and enjoy, dude. It'll happen.

If you think it's long now, you should have seen it before I deleted all the references to my ex.

I figure it's like a dictionary -- sure, it's long, but it's there whenever you need it, and you can always learn something you'll never need to know again.

And I got the same number of e-mails when it was 4 paragraphs long, so I don't think that's the problem....

See, it's exactly the opposite for me. I get tons of e-mail from people in Canada and New York and California and Texas and Oregon and Utah and Florida, and I think the closest person who writes to me regularly is in Ohio. I simply cannot get anybody closer than that to write.

Lilith, the brain is all I've got left to work with. It's not always right, but it's always treated me better than the people I've dated.

The reality of it is that I would jump in after her, push her back in the canoe, and probably end up being the one who drowned myself.

I've been rescuing her, since I met her, from one thing or another. It's almost routine now, a script. I can almost guarantee she'll need saving again within the next few months.
