Has anyone here heard of "Temporary Marriage" among the Islamic faith? This is where they get to be sexual and sexually abuse children and adults of all ages under the guise of temporary marriage. I am not saying every branch of this religion still allows it although some do follow it.

Referring to my post where I stated that while he (Obama) was on vacation in Hawaii he managed to sign the NDAA bill. I don't know about anyone else but I find it quite ironic that he feels he is free to do whatever he wants (including treason) while signing something that can take away the freedom of any innocent person, in fact masses of people.

What on Earth does it take for people to Wake Up? Is it when they take away Aunt Betty cause she stored too much food in her pantry? Is it when Uncle Bob didn't get the operation he needed because of the HealthCare? Or is it when the TSA searched your Grandma's diapers and humilated her so much she never got over it or your kid is having nightmares because he's been taught it's wrong for anyone to grope him but now it's been violated?

I could go on and on, it is endless how each one of us has been effected by all this. Reality isn't pretty but better to face it and attempt to fix it while we still can.

Obama has been so busy I can't keep up. With virtually no transparency that he promised during his campaign, he has made it harder. Along with the mainstream media ignoring most of it. You do a good job Sojourning.I'm not familiar with all of it like Solyndra.

It is amazing how so much just slips right by. Project Gunrunner is infuriating, 2 agents and how many countless others were killed because of it. How many more will be killed? These agents were instructed to use only bean bag shots in the event where Agent Terry was killed. The article by the New American link is under the video if anyone is interested in reading it.

I spend time trying to spread the horrible news of what Obama (and some others) are responsible for. If anyone can account something in detail and with proof so we can all learn then we would have a better argument on why someone should NOT vote for Obama I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Don't forget his latest luxurious vacation in Hawaii (that I know of) where he managed on the last day of the year to sign that pesky NDAA bill that made it legal to indefinitely detain any U.S. citizen (along with anyone else) without charges or a trial!!

Years ago we used to sell a product/ herb concoction called "Eyebright" that can be used as an eye-wash. He had a chronic problem from an acid accident and he used it every day as an eye-wash,definitely helped him. It is worth researching at least.

I believe and hold my faith in the Son of God, my Savior and hate to see anyone mocking my beliefs or what others may believe.

Even though sometimes it may be hard, I try to be respectful.I'm not perfect, my beliefs do not make me perfect in any way or better than anyone else. I'm human, I sin, but because of what I believe, I do recognize a sin and try not to repeat it, I don't always succeed but it is an awareness.

It is especially hard when anyone needs to put a group into a certain, not always true category. People can be so wrong and only spread hate or at least a negative view of others. I take each person as an individual.

I for one certainly do not revel in the thought of God's wrath. I don't see suffering as joyous. There are people who pray to lessen what may happen, myself included.

We are living in very interesting times and my faith is a huge comfort to me. I only wish that everyone has, or will eventually will know, that same comfort.

I'm glad you agree, we need more people to open their eyes and support him. There is a very long list of what Obama has done to help destroy our country as we knew it. Bills need to get repealed and our country has to get put back on track by the only candidate (turned president) that is not bought and paid for.

Just today Obama bypassed Congress and did what he wanted for the umpteenth time!!

President Barack Obama says he won't take 'no' as an answer from Republicans, so he's going around them to appoint the head of a new consumer protection agency. In Ohio on Wednesday Obama named Richard Cordray to the post. (Jan. 4)

It will be if he wins !! He came in a strong third in Iowa yesterday even when there is a lot of backhanded stuff going on, hopefully he will do better in New Hampshire.

Get the word out for Ron Paul !! Our country cannot take another puppet, a treasonist,a deceiving president who is acting like a dictator!

I saved that site and yes, I saw on Sept 14,2001 that there were 420 yays and 1 nay with only 10 people not voting. The paragraphs below make a good point if anyone cares to read it. I think so many were caught up in wanting to get those "evil-doers" who were to blame for 9-11. Had the smoke and debris even cleared from the air yet at that point? Things have changed since then all in the name of keeping us "safe from terrorism"!!

In those long ago debates on the 2001 AUMF, no one said the president should send the military or the CIA into places like Yemen, Somalia, Kenya, or Thailand, and certainly no one said the government should consider the AUMF to be a green light to kidnap terrorism suspects off the streets of places like Italy and send them to torture cells in places like Egypt, or to kidnap innocent people in places like New York's JFK Airport or while vacationing in Macedonia and send them off to places like Syria or to the Salt Pit prison in Afghanistan. No one said the U.S. should set up secret prisons in places like Poland and use the same torture tactics that we prosecuted other people for using. No one in Congress in the days after 9/11 thought a sleepy and long-ignored Naval base at Guantánamo would be set up as "the legal equivalent of outer space" or that the government would start eavesdropping on Americans without search warrants. And certainly no one at that time thought we would have a president drawing up lists of people slated for "targeted killings." But all of these things have happened by presidents claiming war authority under the post-9/11 AUMF.

Whatever one thinks of the need for the military to have responded forcefully in the days after the 9/11 attacks, it is now past time to say enough is enough. It should be up to Congress to decide, with clear objectives, whether and where the president can use America's military might. The answer cannot be anywhere and everywhere that any president thinks a terrorism suspect resides, even when there is no real threat to the United States. As Americans, we owe more to our own legacy and values than to be a country that makes war wherever any president decides on his or her own to make war, and we certainly owe more to the men and women serving our country and to the people here and abroad whom we claim to protect than to have a war with no end.
