boondocks rocks. Aptly put. Boondocks is one of the best newer cartoons. But I think we are missing some from our list of good cartoons: Home Movies Cowboy Bebop (own the whole damn series twice over!) Ghost in the Shell Lucy Daughter of the Devil Beavis and Butthead (ok, they made it on the list out of pure old Mtv nostalgia) Oh and if you want to see something amazing search for "George Washington Professor Brothers" on youtube AMAZING. |

The forums are for fun and sometimes education since there is always something to learn and we can all learn from each other. When I want to chat real time I call a friend..and some of them I became friends with because of this forum. I know I am brand new here, but I completely agree. The only guys who have ever wanted to "live chat" with me were cybersex trolls...I don't need to play on the internet for sex, ya know? |

I took my lil guy to see it and we both loved it. I was more excited afterwards than he was, but I tend to get really wrapped up in books and movies! I don't want to leave the daydream...
Anyway, I agree with the OP, it is a genuinely wonderful family movie. Now if only I could get my own Night Fury. |

Ok Neal Stephenson lovers. What's you favorite book? Favorite character?
My favorite book is Diamond Age, but my favorite character is Jack Shaftoe from The Baroque Cycle. I love his blending of science/geekdom with philosophy, literature and social commentary- those of you who don't know the joys--- I highly recommend him. Those who do like him-- geek out with me! |
