Forums are cool but does anyone actually chat in real time rooms anymore. Not one on one but in groups.......It would be so much easier to get to know people.

I prefer the old style of chatting....talking to another person via the two cans connected via a string. Ahhhhh....The classics never die.

The forums are for fun and sometimes education since there is always something to learn and we can all learn from each other. When I want to chat real time I call a friend..and some of them I became friends with because of this forum.

I know I am brand new here, but I completely agree. The only guys who have ever wanted to "live chat" with me were cybersex trolls...I don't need to play on the internet for sex, ya know?

Yes....I would like to make friends.... and I understand that "calling someone" is real time chat lol.... my point was that I want to get to know people without having to check a forum for weeks to find compatible friends.....I appreciate forums for what they are.... very useful, insiteful and interesting.... but if you are looking to get to know people quickly it may not be the best way.... I used the forum in this case to find out if people still chat in rooms because I can't seem to find that.....I am not online alot and I find that you get to know people the best in instant responses conversationally..... you get fooled when all you know of someone is what they have had plenty of time to organize and write.

Agreed. I mean....trying to figure out how to insert your seven inch into her computer is just too much time consumiing.

Real time chat rooms were taken over in approximately 1999 by bots that require money for sex. We don't want to pay for sex.

So now we hang out on forums...and essentially do the same thing we did in chat rooms, and we still have to pay for sex.

That's what yahoo is for. I hate chat rooms, too many annoying bots and even more annoying pervs.

Yeah....I don't want bots....or porn links every second just the group setting of people talking a litle more instantly

I think it's hard to find those places now. MSN used to have nice ones, but they got shut down, it's all message boards now.

I feel the same way about getting scammed or something, I like to take my time before I deposit 100 dollars into South Africa National Bank.
