There are even a few non-democratic countries that aren't in the dark ages. The only real threat to democracy is totalitarianism, but freedom can always be fought for if one is willing

Come on guys....give the fellow a chance to screw up...Just like Obama deserves the chance......Niether one of them have screwed me over yet so, I gotta give em a chance. Do any of you actually think that they could screw up thier run as president, any more than Bush has boned us? You obviously haven't lived long enough to know NOT to ask questions like that cuz guaranteed one of them will find a way. I'm betting on McCain over Obama to screw things up worse than Dubya did tho

Not to worry. It wont happen! They are not even a 1st world country! They have a large military but their technology can hardly compare to ours. I dont see them being able to do much more than manage to maintain a deterrent force! I dunno Fanta, I've seen pics of their air force and it was scary. Front line fighters made in Taiwan as far as the eye could see. Don't forget, China has managed to merge communism with capitalism to some degree. Oh what the hell am I talking about? They don't need to defeat us militarily. They'll just keep selling us their tainted and poisoned products to weaken us before the take over

I get so mad when I see politicians running the country strictly by the party line. When are these foos going to realize that no matter what the party is, they have good ideas and horrible ideas and that it's in our best interest to apply the good ideas no matter what side of the coin they come from?
Do you remember when both the Conservatives and the Liberals were in charge of Ontario? This province was never run better when each party had the other to keep it in check. Let's face it, being the official opposition party in Parliament does not mean you can keep the ruling party in check, it just means you came in second place. |

Republicans think that all Democrats are liars and cheats and vice versa. I'm fortunate enough NOT to belong to any party, therefore it's easier for me to see that they are ALL liars and cheats.
