Did I say that? No. I didn't. I would agree with you. It's not any more ok for him threaten that than it is for Hitler V.2 in Iran to threaten the same about Israel.

Here's the thing. If you truly believe Israel is in the wrong, you are not going to get the rest of the world to sympathize with you by blowing up innocent civilians. If you want Israel to come to the table you have to STOP ATTACKING THEM. If you tell me you want peace and follow that by punching me in the face, what do you think I'm going to do in return? Yes! Beat the freaking crap out of you!

If you want peace and equity, then act like it. The same goes for Israel.

I don't advocate murder, either. I also don't believe in an eye for an eye. I was simply pointing out that if you live by the sword, you shouldn't cry foul when you die by it. Anyway, I wasn't very clear in my points.

First point is that the UN is a joke.

Second point. The Geneva Convention, at one time, was functional - when people agreed to play by a set of rules. The problem is terrorists don't play by any set of rules. Furthermore, they like to use the GC as a tool to cry "look at what {insert group/nation here} did!" Then they turn right around and violate it themselves by doing things like beheading civilians such as Nick Berg. Right now the GC is a set of handcuffs for us and not for our enemy...and the fanatics ARE our enemy. If we do not seek to change the GC, or replace it with something more effective, we will eventually lose our way of life. It is highly unlikely we can both win this fight and abide by the treaty. I would desire that not to be the case. But after reading the entire treaty and observing how we have fought wars since Viet Nam, I can't see it happening. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so.

I wish the UN would go away and take the Geneva Convention with them. Arabs will hate the US regardless of what we do. Well, maybe if we all converted to Islam we would be suffered to live. Fanatical Muslims, supported by states and organizations like, oh I don't know...PLO, IRAN, SAUDI ARABIA, ETC...,don't abide by the Geneva Convention or UN rules. Why should Israel or the US? If you plan to murder, you shouldn't be surprised if somebody returns the favor.
