You will have to read a lot of labels when going to the grocery store.
The Atkins diet is high protein, very low carbs and the book does have
some recipes. But basically any meat, or cheese (cottage cheese has
the highest carbs however) are low in carbs. I am currently on the
Atkins diet myself so I know what your going through. Get some Splenda
which is a sugar substitute and is about the best I have found as some
have a bad after taste, as he will have to stay away from sugar.
Splenda is also 1/1 ratio so there is no math involved with switching
between that and sugar. Flour also has a lot of carbs but soy flour has
less than others. They also now make tortillas that are low carb so you
can use that for sandwich wraps.

I have to agree with dewdrew. Where did you get the myth/reality thing?
It sounds like Dr. Phil. You need to be comfortable in your own skin
and enjoy your own company before you seek someone for a relationship.
If the guy isn't calling you he's not all that interested, so I wouldn't
waste my time on him. Sometimes when a man says he wants someone who is
independent, it may have hidden meaning, for instance he may be saying
he doesn't want a gold digger or someone who is so clingy that they
won't let him go out with the boys... People sometimes beat around the
bush and won't come right out and tell you where the bear shits in the
woods, so to speak. Hang in there, have faith and the right man will
come along.

I agree with ImJusKat58. I have also had experience with this subject
and have had 2 men try to murder me as a result. One because I was
pregnant with his child and the other because I left him. Which by the
way are two of the most dangerous times for a person who is being
abused. I have done research on the subject and think that everyone
should do likewise to find out what the red flags are so that they do
not get into such a relationship as there are many. I would also
suggest doing a records check on anyone you are thinking about getting
into a relationship with. You can obtain one the local police station
where the person lives and is inexpensive. Where I live it costs $3.
If there are any items on there that suggest violence you can request
incident reports to get the details at about 25 cents per page.
