I was absolutely not bashing on men at all. Just stating that from the time of cavemen certain societal roles have been drilled into us (men and women) that we can not just overcome with "mind over matter" or "put yourself in the other persons shoes". I'm not placing blame anywhere just trying to show a different perspective for the readers to think about. Women's bodies are made for reproduction, a man can be just as good of a parent but he certainly can not produce breast milk. Men are bigger and stronger and made to protect and provide. Society changing doesn't change any of these facts, therefor unavoidable conflicts arise. As a human race we will continue to evolve over time but it's certainly not going to happen in 50 years. I am a very strong independent female with a very strong independent female role model in my mother. My brother being raised by the same woman could probably handle a female more like me having been brought up in that environment. We're all a product of our environment whether we embrace or rebel against it. She also gave you like, the greatest AZZ ever

There is something to be said Sneaks, about
learning more of a person's character by reading their postings in the forums. And I have seen some in here who will ONLY chat with people who post, for that very reason. You come across very earnestly, so that should draw sincere guys. Good luck sweetie. They are out there. |

I stopped watching "sports" when they stopped
being sportsmanlike. More about the dollar, and the steroids, than sportsmanship. I was watching the Special Olympics years ago. During a race, the leader nearly stopped, then slowed until all the other runners caught up to her...so that they all finished simultaneously. They all were so happy. She understood perfectly what it was all about. |
