Hey your suppose to have a protein shake within 30minutes of your workout because of what u lose from the workout that your body needs back With all due respect you couldn't be more wrong, first let me adress the O/P's question. The reason you are hungry after an intense workout is because you have dramatically increased your metabolic rate. Depending if you are trying to lose weight or gain muscle then what you should be eating afterwards comes into play. A protein shake with some fast acting carbs is a good idea for a muscle building plan as it causes an insulin boost allowing more protein into your muscles when catabolism is at it's highest. Waxy Maize Starch is great, fruit can be used too, but fruit contains a sugar called fructose. That is the only carb that doesn't replinish muscle glycogen storage. Now if you are planning on getting very lean, then you may opt for protein shake and some good fats such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a quarter of Avacoda, etc. or just a protein shake alone, alot of variables here depending on your bodyfat, and goals. If she's cold it's because she has dieted incorrectly and has caused her thyroid to slow down, meaning the t4 to t3 conversion has dropped dramitically. You have to learn to diet without taking certain macronutrients away.

About four months ago, two months after breaking up with my ex. I dumped a girl I was dating because of baby daddy drama. Three times she messed up my Saturday by having to cancel because she couldn't get a babysitter. If someones life is too restricted and it causes them to be flaky, I won't put up with it. I'm too young, I like having fun, and there is always plenty more fish in the sea that don't come with the restrictive baggage. I don't blame her one bit, you just need to find someone who puts up with it. |

Well Sparrow395 just got tickets from Canada to California. We have been talking for a while and almost every day! We get a long great (most of the time, lol) and even though it sounds corny I really value our time together on the phone or via email. March 24 I will be picking her up from LAX to say I'm happy and excited is an understatement! To be honest I came here just to see what it was about, I was sick of the bar scene, you know Plenty of Drama, and plenty of trauma scene. Anyways, I came here just basically posting in the forums having fun, she liked me and emailed me first and we began contact and from there it lead to a date for her to come visit me. Lesson learned, girls or guys if you see someone here you like or think you might be interested in just email that person and tell them. You have nothing to lose but lots to gain. I know a lot of guys here liked her but they just didn't have the balls to go for her or email her like they wanted to be her friend and she could totally see that as being a wuss. But with me she went straight to the subj. and I went straight to the subject and a deal was made in time! I'm hoping it really becomes more than a meeting, but a future and to be honest I have faith! Well here is my true and corny thread, lol! But hey I'm a little excited so what the ****!!!
Oh and I think the constant sex, filled with kinetic energy will be great, too!

Wow, you guys are taking the whole sex thing to a different level. First of all we actually met in the Sex and Intamcy forum of this board, so that issue was joked around with and brought up in serious matters numerous times. Maybe this forum is more the bible belt of this board, but so be it! Trust me I wouldn't take time off work and all that for some meaningless sex, if that's what I wanted I can hit up bars every night. I'm 30 now and want something more meaningful!
