Reminds me of the Japanese internment camps of WWII, which were used to deprive Ameican citizens of their rights and freedom. I knew one Japanese American man in Hawaii, now deceased, who was housed on Sand Island along with his parents. No one should ever have to endure such treatment.

Oahu, Hawaii. Honolulu is really just another big city, but the island still offers some enjoyable things to do. For scenic beauty, Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii are much better.

I took a cruise on the SS Emerald Seas (Eastern Steamshp Lines) from Miami to Nassau in the Bahamas. Didn't like being required to wear a tie and jacket just to enter the dining room. The experience was anything but laid back.

Sedona is OK, I suppose. While the area itself it beautiful, Sedona is just another tourist trap. Reminds me a great deal of Gatlinburg, TN. Grand Canyon, however, is outstanding, as is the Senora Desert Museum, down near Tuscon. If you want to get a taste of Mexican poverty, cross over into Nogales, Mexico. Very sad living conditions.
