Hi... This thread is for all the happy minglers who would like to share with the rest of us, photos of their homeland, no matter where on Earth you live! Please, when you post a pic, let us know where the pic was taken!
I call the United States home. Throughout the years, many people have come from all around the world to America, in search of freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. "Cobh" Pronounced "Cove", these were three little children who went to America. The girl was the very first immigrant to be processed at Ellis Island. Photograph by keriberi33 |

Of all the places i've lived South West Georgia was the most beautiful. I wish I had more pics.... this one shows the sky on a beautiful fall day you can also see a pecan tree that was nearly 100 years old that grew in our back field.

Ehhh...I'm not a huge fan of Florida, but I'm kinda stuck here for now.
Taken by me. Islands Of Adventure theme park in Orlando. Here are a few pics I took on my Eurotrip in 2007. I would like to, hopefully live there someday. Some random park I came across, walking around lost in Amsterdam. Full moon over The Grand Place in Brussels. Old Town Square and Charles Bridge in Prague. This was taken from the balcony of Cochem castle in Cochem Germany. |

venus, I think you win scotland is pretty Well i happen to think there is much beauty everywhere! ur pictures were great too, and i know from visiting Canada and America last yr that the landscapes can be breathtaking...i will always have beautiful images in my memory because of that, it so different, they seem so much more bigger and beautiful than wat i see here, then again, i am a city girl, but it would be a dream come true to live in beautiful surroundings, particularly in the Highlands of Scotland! so much more greenery/nature, and openness, but that is a fantasy lol! |

1 more!...Perthshire
Ok, make that 2! i forgot to put a pic of the famous "Loch Ness" where the mystery monster apparently resides...(just some additional info! i have steered a boat over this point ! the guy who had taken us out was the guy who took 1 of the most famous original photographs which apparently catches the "Loch Ness Monster" He explained how he was out doing his job, and by chance, he had his camera with him and it was the one and only time he ever had a camera with him, altho he said he had in total saw it 13 times over his 40 or so yrs whilst he worked to maintain management of the Loch.) |
