I will definitely ask about that. I keep writing down questions as I think of them to ask the doctor. So anything like that is helpful. They know for sure there is no tumors, cysts,or abnormalities. So that is some comfort because it rules out things like cancer. Fallin-I appreciate all of your help. And to everyone else-I can't say thank you enough.

Thanks Hawaii. As far as the ibuprofen-I do give it for fevers, headaches occassionally. But not more than needed. Is there something to that? LLHS-absolutely! That would be great. Thanks guys.

People change - relationships change. Maybe the new guy is jealous. Wait it out and be patient.

No aneurysm. The 2 specialists we have seen are stumped. They said they see this a lot in kids who have had trauma to the back (she's not had any). I was just wondering about the Daytrana because everything else seems to be a dead end. We have a couple more appt. over the next week. I'm trying to get a referral from the insurance co. to go to St. Louis-more technology, hopefully a doctor with an answer.

She's been off the meds for about 5 months now. We,too, got nowhere with the exception of her being a zombie.

My 9 year old daughter has struggled for a long time with some emotional/anger issues. Last year, against my better judgment and at the advice of a psychiatrist,we put her on the Daytrana patch. It is a form of ritalin that adheres to the skin and releases meds throughout the day. Well, 2 weeks ago,she came down with what I thought was a bladder infection. We went to the doctor-no infection. They ordered an ultrasound and other tests. Her right kidney has lost all function and is filling up with blood. Noone seems to have an explanation and in the meantime, she is suffering. I guess I just want to know if anyone knows of a correlation between Daytrana and kidney problems. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Also we could use some prayers. Thanks!

My ex-husband was the same way. He broke my heart, but not my spirit. Get back to your life. You can't change the past but at least you're out-you're free. Enjoy your freedom. Don't continue to let the past control your future.

How tragic. Words can be so hurtful. People should think before they speak. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
