Why, oh why do I attract these kinds of people? Eat lots of garlic Haha, that would most likely scare off all but those of the horrible hygiene. Not if they're Italian. We Italians are attracted to garlic bread Hahaha, I know all about that. I grew up with a very Italian family. |

Oh trust me I have no problem telling them. What frustrates me is that I send out some kind of scent or something that attracts either psychos, very strange people, stalkers, or men that are ohh like 3 times my age. Lucky me! Hahaha. and yeah, maybe its the dog in the picture. I know you were joking, I thought it was funny. And yes, they are everywhere. There should be some sort of repellent. Or maybe people should just come with warning labels. |

So have you ever met someone online, and they seem nice enough while messaging you, then maybe you and this person take it a little past online to texting. Then it's like BAM as soon as this person has your number they are just blowing up your phone 24/7 with do you like me? What do you think about me? What are you up to? What are you thinking about?
GRRRAAAHHHHHH. It's just bad, man. I've even told the kid I didn't want to talk and the texts just never effing end. Seems like a complete act of desperation from someone completely insecure. Why, oh why do I attract these kinds of people? |

I just got the new alk3 cd and I'm pretty undecided about it. I love the band, but the new cd is just missing something.
I don't know if any of you guys have heard of them, let alone listen to them but I'm curious what you have to say about the new cd if you've heard it. |

Yes, I do believe in soul mates. That doesn't mean that you have just one or will be with them together til the end of this life. When this happens, the connection, the feelings, the familiarity of knowing them, is really not explainable. You know it is not in your character to feel this way. This can happen without ever meeting them first. I've experienced lust at first sight and this is not it. People and experiences are placed before us for a reason. When it happens to me I choose to go all in and embrace the connection. No one can predict the future, but I will never pass up the chance if it is placed before me. I'm exactly the same way. I would never ever pass that connection up. |

soul mates

I actually do believe in soul mates, but not in the conventional sense. I don't think it's someone to marry and spend the rest of your life with and be lovey dovey forevermore. Three years ago I dated a boy for a short time, but it was an instant connection and it had felt like we'd known each other for years after about a week or two. We had a horrible break up, both of us devastated, and didn't talk for a few months. As of now, we are best friends. We think alike and have the same feelings on almost everything. We still care very deeply about each other, talk a lot, and know that we could always turn to one another for anything at all. The love has turned into a different kind of love, and I do believe he's my soul mate because it feels like he is the other half of me. He always knows what to say or do when I'm upset and it's a wonderful kind of person to have in your life. Oddly enough, I don't want to date, marry, whatever, him, I'm extremely happy with his role in my life right now. Lol that's my idea of a soul mate anyway. I don't think it has to be someone that you end up married to necessarily... I don't think it even has to be a lover..just a connection that was made before we came to this planet. I understand what your saying... Whew, glad someone got it. The comfort factor around him is like, off the charts though. We just get each other. Really glad we ended up staying friends, we've been through a lot of crap, too. |

Here is what I think. So, you say you guys hang out, there has been some smooching, cute stuff like that. And that you like him and he's fun to be around, and that you talk while you're hanging out, but not much when you're not together. Do I have the gist of it? I think so.
If he's kissing you and not pressing to go further, he probably likes you. If he is the one to ask if you want to hang out, it usually means he's thinking about you and wants to see you. I have a lot of guy friends, so sometimes I do get small amounts of insight. Guys usually aren't fans of talking on the phone. They'd rather be watching tv, playing a video game, what have you. So I'm gonna guess you guys text. It might just be a simple matter of him not knowing what to talk about. Sometimes its easier to carry a conversation in person than it is through text message. If you text him and he almost always texts you back, it's a good thing. If he sometimes ignores you for a while, I'd be a little curious myself. If I were you I'd just tell him that you're starting to like him, and you'd like to talk to him more when you guys aren't together. Men can't read minds and they can very rarely read signals, so be blunt about it. Explain where you're coming from and most likely, if he has feelings for you, he'll understand and put forth more of an effort. Best of luck, lady. |
