Well personally I would much prefer to invite someone around for dinner and cook a good meal for them. Its a great way to have a great conversation and spend time while cooking to get to know someone. If they are not comfortable in your home then maybe meet somewhere in public like a park or a beach and pack a picnic its not rocket science in my book.
