Christianity and Muslims are the most bloody and wicked religions on the planet. With all the ongoing molestation today of children, men, women, beast and the ongoing slaughter, kidnapping and slavery especially by Muslims, one must surely re-consider joining these religions. This is the Greek, Roman and Ottoman Empires, all over again.

People tend to equate religion with individuals who follow religion. Humans are bloody and wicked, and those humans can choose whatever denominations they want and claim to follow whatever denomination they want. Nothing in how Christ lived set an example supporting slaughter, kidnapping, or slavery. I am not a Muslim but know muslims, and I don't doubt their faith and values are similarly misrepresented by making the example out of the extremists in their faith, instead of the norms.

You are a special lady miss Harmony and there were several instances in which I wanted to share more knowledge with you. But it is good to wander from the TRUTH, before becoming part of it. But let me warn you that the Christ you are referring to is NOT the biblical Christ, and the biblical Christ warned us to take heed that no men deceive us.

Which Bible, and how is it not 'biblical' Christ? How can it be validated who the 'deceivers' actually are? Maybe they are the ones encouraging us to not believe the Bible, or that other bibles are more 'real'. This is the challenge and the complexity of 'faith'. It is not about any one man or woman or what they say, it is about what our spirit tells us.

Again, I love the way you think, msharmony. But it is not as complex as you think for God is not the author of confusion. How can we VALIDATE OUR BELIEVES?
Did you noticed that the churches NEVER compare the Holy bible with HISTORY and make you think it is partially true and partially mythology? And did you also noticed that BIBLICAL PROPHECIES and LINEAGES are being neglected?

Well indeed they gave you one Jesus, and hid the other. If you keep telling a lie over and over, many will believe it's the truth. The Jesus they gave you has his own doctrine, and he is not the one who told you how to pray [Matthew 6:9].

AS A MATTER OF FACT (YOU LIKE FACTS, DON'T YOU?), the Jesus you worship CAN'T BE FOUND IN THE HOLY BIBLE. lET'S LEAVE IT HERE, FOR YOU TO DIGRESS!

I do not know what you mean by 'the jesus you worship'. I am worshipping the one that is in the Holy Bible.

I never noticed what the church compares, they are there to teach, not compare.

I have the resource from which they teach. I leave secular history to history teachers.

Any side of the debate can use the same statements you use here. Faith is the answer.

So my dear sister, let's be more specific. If you were robbed and the police asked you who robbed you, what would you have to do? You would have to give a DESCRIPTION of the robber. Let's say the thief looked like Jesus, the one you know, and I am the Police. How would you describe him to me?

Let's look at your questions for a brief moment:

You: I do not know what you mean by 'the jesus you worship'. I am worshipping the one that is in the Holy Bible.
My Answer: So you think! Let's say my sister is going to bake a cake for you, for the 1st time.
But instead, I baked the cake and gave it to you. Would you know?
(That's called witchcraft).

You:I never noticed what the church compares, they are there to teach, not compare.
My answer: Right and they taught you that Jesus baked the cake for you and then they gave you their own cake.

You:I have the resource from which they teach. I leave secular history to history teachers.
My answer: They tore pages from the Holy Bible were Christ was speaking and teaching. Do you believe these pages were NON SECULAR? Was Christ a liar or did they make him a liar? And because you leave secular history to history teachers, you become vulnerable.

You:Any side of the debate can use the same statements you use here. Faith is the answer.
My answer: Let's look at one prophecy which was removed from the Holy Bible:
[Maccabees 3:48] And laid open the book of the law, wherein the heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images.
What is your understanding of this verse and do you know when in history this happened?

circular logic.

If you make a statement about what is in the Holy Bible, unless one is speaking about a different Holy Bible(Which I also asked you to clarify), one cannot say that someone is not worshiping what is in the Holy Bible.

If you say your book is more of the truth than someone else's truth, unless there is a time travel machine that gave you personally the experiences written of, then you have no more or less reason to be considered having the 'truth'.

I didn't made any of the statements you wrote. There is no circular Logic with me! I simply asked to answer few questions. That's all. You didn't touched the prophecy which I requested!

I am addressing only your claim that I do not worship a Christ that is 'anywhere' in the Holy Bible.

I did not address the prophecy because, again, it is only your 'claim' that it is something that was removed.

It was removed for a specific reason. Unless you understand the narrative of the bible and who you are in the Holy Bible, and what your life purpose is , you will remain in the congregation of the forgotten!

Okay. I suppose I should trust that YOU have that knowledge and I don't.

Yes, because he knew you before you were formed in the womb! You must humble yourself to the LORD for the proper understanding. I already told you that you are in Idolatry, the most hated sin, but you mist the point.

Baptized episcopal. I'm from a mick family so went to either cathlic or episcopal church. You go to your own church or the closest to your own faith is how the mick aspact works.

Stopped going to any churches when I was 16. Then figured out my own belief system over time. Read up on other religions which didn't fit. Others are always freaking out about their religions/philosophical belief. I know mine is true because I don't care if someone prays to a rock, god or nothing at all. All the arguments and noise doesn't change my faith in the least.

God: Life is an extension of God. Life exists therefore God does. Just like an ant can't understand what we are, we can't understand what God is. So it's a fool's eran to waste your time on such thoughts of, "What is God".

General Principles: The Web of Life, Yin&Yang, cause and effect, Destiny and Fate

Death: There's no way of proving "Life after death" 100%. I lean towards the "Continuation" belief that you are kinetic energy and after death you become potential energy. So when I die I'm being torched so I'll be apart of the atmosphere and become a lightning bolt during a storm. Not adverse to those who believe they'll go to "The Here After".

Well, that's just an overview. It gets more in depth when expanded out. Hope it gives you an overall view of where I stand.

I think that it's a misconception that we have to understand everything we read or what has been told to us. As a young man of just 16 years old I was fascinated with the paranormal and learned as much as I could. There is none or little that I don't know about spirituality. Now, I am mostly referring to the bible because I understood that God is not going to come down from Heaven to teach us, but he put His words into the mouth of Christ and his prophets. So, I study, meditate and read His precepts as King David did.

The bible gives us many instances of reincarnation and even tells us that there is an afterlife. Here are two examples of the afterlife and one of reincarnation.
There are more but this will give you an idea!

[John 14:2] In my fathers house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. This is Christ speaking to his disciples. If you believe in Christ then this verse alone, should be 100% proof for you.

[Ecclesiastes 12:7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

One instance of reincarnation can be found in John 9:1.

There are questions asked at the beginning of this thread. You have answered not one, but have attacked other people's beliefs with zero persuasion.

Christian theology is the study of Christian belief and practice. Such study concentrates primarily upon the texts of the Old Testament and the New Testament as well as on Christian tradition. Christian theologians use biblical exegesis, rational analysis and argument. Theology might be undertaken to help the theologian better understand Christian tenets; to make comparisons between Christianity and other traditions; to defend Christianity against objections and criticism; to facilitate reforms in the Christian church and to assist in the propagation of Christianity.

Share your beliefs and how you came to faith as asked by the thread's topic or do you have something to hide?

Just like many my parents were Catholic and I was baptized in a Catholic Church.
I went to Catholic schools and you must understand that the Priests were programmed to tell lies, because I was born in a 3rd world country. They would never uplift my people because we are a conquered people. You most certainly can't relate to this, because you are a Caucasian woman and heaven was made for you. Even today, there are Africans who believe that Jesus looks like you!

Those MANY came in the early 16th century, deceiving many BUT CAN'T DECEIVE THE ELECT.

Well dear lady. Imagine you go to a bookstore and sees a book with the title
"Holy Bible on the cover of the book". You take the book from the shelf, turn the pages rapidly reading short sections at random. Your goal is to find out what the theme of the book is.

Maybe you didn't go to the bookstore but your parents were Catholic, like my parents were, and they educated you in Christianity, or you were sent to a Catholic school to learn about God, Christ and the beautiful half naked angels, and even the Apostles and how Judas betrayed Christ, and the Crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Beautiful stories mixing good and bad in one pottage, under one umbrella, for your learning and praying.

In this 2nd case you didn't turn the pages of the Holy Book to discover it's theme or what it is about, because the contents were brought to you by Holy men and Women much greater than you, whom you looked up to.

Having learned that much as a young girl, and becoming an adult and even a mother.
Would you today be brave enough to question what you have learned as a teenager?
Most certainly NOT and why should you!

There is only ONE prayer in the Holy Bible from Christ himself, given to him by the Father, as is always the case. [Matthew 6:9] This ONE prayer was meant to make sure, that the purpose of God (not praying in general) would be established FOREVER meaning until Christ returns; namely the Authority of the Heavenly Father and their purpose on the earth and what to look for.

Now, if your soul really, really needs a challenge, then ask yourself this question: Was I taught the true Gospel? Then if you dare, research what the bible is about, it's theme, and compare it with the Gospel.

That's really heavy, because your world (belief system) could crumble and be turned upside down. Sometimes we must play save and stick to what we know. It's for you to decide, what the truth can do for you.

[Hebrews 4:12] For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Simply put ..the Holy Book can and will cut the unprepared into pieces, and leave their souls and thoughts, wounded FOREVER.

Shame on you...what a condescending thing for you to assume that I've never read the Bible huh
I HAVE read the Bible, cover to cover..several versions (NIV, NAS, King James)
Own three.
I don;t need someone to TEACH me the Bible/ Gospel..I am capable of reading it on my own.

So, using your logic...ANY church that puts Bible verses in their program (the thing you get every Sunday at many churches), or in their sermon is suspect, then?
Because THEY could twist various verse to suit their particular theology..be it Baptist, Methodist, Presbytarian, Four Square Gospel, Pentacostal (all of which I have attended at various times)...whatever.

You need to check your judgeyness...Matthew 7 comes to mind...

I didn't assume that you never read the bible. Millions say they have and many have been in the churches their life long. Actually, I truly believe you read the bible many times.

What I was assuming is that you accept my challenge, and compare your readings with the Gospel that you were taught. But 1st you would have to cover the theme of the holy bible. If you go to a movie and I say, tell me what the movie was about. Your explanation would be proof that you understood the narrative of the movie.
This is just a challenge for your heart and not a test or a judgement. So, pls don't feel offended!

The reason why Christ gave only ONE prayer is, that this IS THE ONLY PRAYER we EVER need to pray, and ALL OTHER PRAYERS ARE BOGUS AND MEN MADE. Can we still pray other prayers? Of course we can! Will they be of benefit to us? Of course NOT! What happens when one man prays for rain and the other for Sunshine? The father is not looking for prayers, but for them who seek him in TRUTH. Christ went to church on Sabbath, which was the last day of the week, as was the will of his Father, and not on the 1st day of the week.
[John 5:20] .... I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me, said Christ.

Would I teach you the Holy Bible? Of course not! You have already been taught!
Can you be re-taught? Of course, but would you put aside your pride and the many years of miseducation? You are NOT alone. We have all been miseducated.
Many will judge me for saying THAT, but NONE can come forth and proof me WRONG.

[Proverbs 29:23] A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

[John 8:32] And ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you free.

Whatever bro...
You seem to think that Catholics teach false theology....

And, you didn't comment about the fact that as an adult over the years, I have attended all those denominations?

You are apparently an Ascended Master who knows FAR more than any other person, and speaks for the Holy Spirit whoa

I'm done trying to reason with you.

Peace, and good luck on your quest.

Not only do I seem to think, but theology is a false doctrine. Martin Luther King had a doctorate in theology, but instead of following Christ he admired and followed Mahatma Gandhi. Hence his downfall. Before his death he confided to followers, that he was afraid he lead his people into a "burning house". They honored him with a statue because he preached INTEGRATION and Malcolm X was forgotten because he preached SEPARATION, as the Holy Bible tells us to do!

Also, there are no such beings as Ascended Masters. That is again a men made invention, to capture the mind and fascination of those who want to believe
in the supernatural. Take it with a grain of salt and Look at it, as another movie from Marvel Studios.

The Holy Spirit is not a man, not God, nor the spirit of God but the TRUTH.
Another name for the same thing!

Hello sister, the Roman Catholic don't teach the Bible but the Catechism of Rome They can't teach you how to pray because the Bible was not given to them. Christ never taught us to follow any religion but to be obedient to the heavenly father. Faith without work is death, says the Bible. Your faith must be in doing the works first, and then your prayers.

Darlin', I grew up Catholic and we most CERTAINLY were taught the Old and New Testament...and they were part of every Sunday's worship service.
I don't know where you got your information from.

Colinbine school out west and some of the other schools that kids and teachers and staff were killed people the anger the bullying and copycats are alive and out here as I speak it's not cool prayers work Coldersky:worried:

It breaks my heart to read your pain and concerns. But If prayers did work, the world would have been a better place and all would rejoice. But it is in the hand of the LORD, and Gods promises are not slack. This world must come to an end and his judgement is upon the Wicked. There is a purpose behind these killings and you must trust in the LORD and do His WILL.

We reap what we sow and it will get worse! Watch the flooding, the hurricanes, the storm, mass shooting and killing, the deathly viruses, locusts, Ice, opiod, sand storms, wild fires etc. All at one time. The plagues of ancient Egypt are upon Babylon the Great and His adversaries.

[John 9:31] Now we know that God heareth not sinners...

Faith or believe are the things we "hope" for and can't proof their existence.
Therefore "believe" can last a lifetime, because we can't proof it. The Christian God is not the God of the bible and therefore, we can read and understand scriptures without theological understanding.
